Gamestop.com has posted an image of War for Cybertron SHockwave, who is only available as a player character if you preorder the game from them. Check out the image below and make sure to preorder the game if you want to be able to play the cold-hearted, logic driven evil Decepticon.

Isn't his gun arm supposed to be on the other side? Nonetheless, he looks pretty cool. I hope they make a toy of him. We could use a new Shockwave figure.

Yes we NEED a figure of this! Classics/Universe badly needs a Shockwave and this would do nicely!

Celebrate your love of Shockwave by going to youtube and watching 'Shockwave's Burden' by Dr. Smoov if you haven't seen it.

The exclusives are usually a code that you can get after the fact. its no more special or secret than a gun cheat in GTA or up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, Select, Start

Gamestop always says "only when you pre-order at Gamestop" for pre-order bonuses, specifically in-game items. I know from experience that this is a lie. They said that the Terminus Armor for Mass Effect 2, and the baseball bat melee weapon for Left 4 Dead 2 were exclusive to them, but you got them even if you pre-ordered off of Steam. They're also saying that with Aliens vs. Predator you get three exclusive skins when you pre-order from them, but, again, you can also get these when you pre-order from Steam.

It may be true for physical objects like figures or keychains, but they can't actually make a piece of coding only work if you pre-order from them.

It's possible that it's a mirrored image, but if not that okay too...

This really looks awesome, but I would also like to have the Transformers Movie Game version of Shockwave made into a toy... remember, he's a triple changer, and totally badass =)

Actually, isn't a little odd for him to have that body, since he never changed his form for earth he should look like he always has.

Not that i care. I just want a new Shockwave toy. :grin:

That's not always true. Sorry but it's just not. I preordered Halo 3: ODST and I got a code that lets me play as the legendary Sgt. Johnson. You can't download him. That's the only way to get him. That's just one of many I can think of. Preorder bonuses are sweet and they don't cost you anything so what's the problem?

Quite possibly the best looking Shockwave since G1. If there's a toy, and it looks half as good as this, it will still be a fantastic figure.

Looks awesome. Kind of a mix between G1 & energon. Ill have to preorder when i go pick up AvP. Still want to know if this is a dlc code (like it should be) or a button code.

The Dem Bones map on Batman Arkham Asylum was a pre-order bonus. You can't get that any other way.

It's not quite a lie. He's probably not available via DLC, no one's denying that. The lie is that it's NOT Gamestop exclusive, there WILL be other stores that offer the same thing. I explained that just because Gamestop says it's exclusive to them, doesn't mean it's true.

I was just thinking about this yesterday. I was wondering if they would change his model or keep it the same which it should because he never left Cybertron. But this is a very great comprimise. It stays in the games look but does not leave the G1 appearence which i am very pleased.
