I'm not sure that two Legends class figures that turn into one deluxe would be a stretch, price-wise. If deluxes are going up to $20, that's what the price is already for Battletrap.

We just had a legends 2 pack at walgreens, how much was it?

As you can see, Shockwave is in the leader class though with both him and Magnus being in the Prime Wars contest for a leader class toy and with us knowing that all those toys were going to have an evolution gimmick (with Seige Magnus still sporting that), it could be that leader Shockwave would be a voyager Shockwave with armour pieces for an ultimate form.

...alright, no spoilers of course but anyone who's up to date with IDW is surely hoping for exactly the same thing from the armoured-shockwave possibility. Long shot, but a man can dream

We've been over this: IDW is ending. Hasbro won't be putting anymore IDW-inspired material. At least not stuff that isn't part of the reboot. The old timeline is over, finished.

You realize you're saying this about a toy line based specifically on a single Transformers episode from 1984, right? That story line ended 34 years ago and yet here we are. It doesn't matter if a story line has ended in the comics, they'll continue to insert characters, designs, and ideas into the toy line where they feel they make sense. They've shown so little interest in IDW within the toy line that that disinterest is why they probably wont make that Shockwave, not because the story is ending.

I like that Ironhide and Skytread are on the way, but I was hoping the Throttlebots, Joyride, Slapdash, Seacons and others were on the way next year. I wasn't expecting a revisit to War for Cybertron right now.

I like Flywheels, the colors and the jet and tankmode.
Pretty sure Hasbro will make something awesome of it.

So, Voyager Megatron comfirmed, hopefully he won't be a repaint of a tripple changer like in Titans Return. Don't get me wrong, he's thé best Megatron for my Generations line (I like my Meg/Op as voyagers). That Optimus is looking like the best Optimus Prime so far.

Everybody talking about Star Saber, and I'm here sitting waiting for a re-do of Energon Wing Saber (mostly the same deal actually).

Looking at the Polls a bit closer, it's worth noting that if Shockwave will sport an PotP Evolution-type gimmick, that would make one Leader produced from each category:



Ultra Magnus: Honor
Shockwave: Order
Optimus Primal: Chaos

They did hint we will be getting a look a new stuff in Canada so figures crossed.

Out of those 9 I guess it's pretty likely that we'll get Star Saber somewhere in WfC and Thindertron might be a retool either of him or of the TR Sky Shadow mold. But if we get Star Saber it's more likely they'll use his mold again and it'd be way more fitting because of the Armor gimmick.
Leader classes of Arcee and Hound are pretty unlikely.
And Deathsaurus would be awesome, too, and maybe a possible moldmate for BW Transmetal 2 Megatron to go with PotP Optimal Optimus.

A deathsarus into Dragon Megs I can kinda see it but it would have to be a retool as Deathsarus doesn't turn into a dragon but a non specific Kaiju. A Deathsarus with original gimmick in tact would be mean a return for the Breastforce A name I can't see sticking around.

Of course I do it regularly enough, but people will complain regardless. Look at the whole Autobot Megatron thing. All they did was change one version of Megatron amongst the vast ocean of Megs.

What if the leader class Shockwave had a voyager class Longarm who turned into a cybertronian crane, and when you add armor in robot mode, he becomes Shocwave, when you add armor in alt mode, he becomes a tank.

A nice idea and homage to his Animated self but if the comments about robot mode scale are to be believed, the other way round might be more interesting. A voyager shockwave hides in armour to pretend to be Leader class bot Longarm. It would also be a nice nod to IDW comics
