Nemesis Primal wrote:...so I read the latest article put up about the card game again out of curiosity, and I think I see another potential first look at a figure. Last time I did this, I got shot down pretty quickly, but I think this might be accurate, given who it is:
-We know Ratchet is coming already
-That does appear to be the Ironhide mold
-Has the cartoon-accurate white helmet and black crest I recall most people on this thread expecting
-Most importantly, this card is a DIFFERENT design for Ratchet than the one on his individual card, as his individual card looked to be based off the old Universe mold
So if I'm right this time, then Ratchet absolutely has a molded-on lightbar like I was hoping, a cartoon-accurate head, and possibly those accessories? I'm taking the accessories with a grain of salt for now. I know Ratchet appeared in his Siege design in the new IDW run already, does anyone who's seen it want to confirm or deny this?

Weirldy, the weaponizers (and micromasters) are the ones I'm passing on. Not that I don't like them, but to me they are parts of figures I don't have and will likely never get.

I don't Fort Max of Metroplex, but that hasn't stopped me picking up Cog and Sixgun. I don't have Trypticon, but I will be getting Brunt. The beauty of the weaponisers is the fact that you don't need their associated titan to be able to enjoy them, as they can bu utilized by other figures and (IMHO) they are nice enough figures in their own right.

william-james88 wrote:The first time we saw Transformers Siege leader class Galaxy Optimus Prime was in comic art, and it seems like our first look at Siege Ratchet could be on some card art. Hasbro is trying to keep a standard image throughout its transformers media and thus the cards have had a lot of Siege themed designs in their art lately. In the latest card reveals, we have an image of Ratchet on the Take Cover card (shown below) and that image shows Ratchet in an identical body to Siege deluxe Ironhide. So this could be our first look at the deco for the upcoming Walgreens exclusive Ratchet. The art shows him with a black crest on a white helmet, which is Ratchet's standard colour scheme in the G1 cartoon.

He appeared in issue 4 of the comic in that body.
Nexus Knight wrote:Yeah, and while it's noticable enough to see that it is Siege Ironhides body, there are notable differences, especially in the shoulders. The comic version sports a red cross on the left shoulder, while this card version shows a red stripe on both. There is also some details on the shoulders that don't correspond with each. Plus, the card figure is in better lighting, which gives us more colors than the pale blue glow in the comic, plus we can see more in the card.

It would be rather early for Walmart. The release date for these toys is July 2019.

That's weird, the more common version of the story I've heard is simply trademark infringement of the Red Cross logo... at least since the 2000's![]()
This logo is trademarked by the organizations, who enforce the use of their marks heavily these days. Modern Transformers toys can no longer sport the logo, as it could be considered an abuse of the symbol's meaning. The red cross symbol was in fact incorrectly used on all of the aforementioned toys to begin with, since the symbol represents humanitarian organizations that normally don't operate regular urban ambulances.

A Slammer redeco would be close to the original comics inspiration.

Wouldn't hold out hope for a two-pack with a Scamper based off Sideswipe, since we're already getting a two-pack with a black and red 'Swipe.
