Wolfman Jake wrote:You know, I don't think I'm really happy with these "cel-shaded" versions of Siege Optimus Prime and Megatron. They look more like they've got weird two-tone camouflage than dynamic lighting and shadowing. I might still get these either to keep in package or display separately, but they're almost certainly NOT going to replace the regular Wave 1 versions of Optimus Prime and Megatron with the battle damage in my main Transformers display shelves. I just want cartoon accurate paint apps without the battle damage, Hasbro!

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

There are atandarfs to maintain.

Man, Hot Shot was totally a Hot Rod clone, not Bumblebee. Just look at his Armada Powerlinx redeco and the design of his first Cybertron form. His personality was lifted from Hot Rod (and Cheetor) too.Deadput wrote:I actually like that Hot Shot is no longer "proto Sports Car Bumblebee", increases the chances of being able to see him again some day in media without him being more of a Bumblebee clone, same with adapting shades of blue as his primary color.
Shadowman wrote:This is Sabrblade we're talking about. His ability to store trivial information about TV shows is downright superhuman.

The name "Bumblebee" was unusable at the time of Armada, so I sincerely doubt that the show's dubbers (as incompetent as they were with keeping track of everyone's names) would have used a name that wasn't even available for them to use.blackeyedprime wrote:Pretty sure Optimus calls him Bumblebee at one point in Armada but plenty of wrong names mentioned in that show.

I dig it though.

I hope itvis mainline, this almost feels too ranfom and niche for Selects. It dpens thave the same draw as RedWing (most wanted Botcon... Okay maybe not) or G2 Megs.
I think for me what I like aboutvthis over the Cyberyron CD hot Shot us that unlike the Galazy Upgrade Prime this is not trying to be that toy. Same character concept but a very different toy experience whereas GalaxyUpgrade Prime still tried to walk and talk like his old toy.
