Fair enough. I would agree with that too. Basically Leader Class is cost prohibitive so limit the poll to 4 or 6 pairs and pick the winning two. There aren't that many potential Leader Class Transformers to realistically choose from without copies or non leaders being subbed in.
Star Saber, Dai Atlas, Emirate Xaaron, Dezarus, Violin Jager, The Last Autobot, Prime (Op and Rod), Shockwave, Galvatron, Megatron, Thunderwing, Straxus, Scorponok, Fort Max
A poll with all the leaders would dilute the results much in the same way as three to four Optimi (?) rig the vote. So smaller, line specific polls would likely lend themselves to figures the majority actually want.

Are we sure the leader issue isn’t more of a “we need an Optimus at every price point” and then whatever retool we can get away with?
To a degree I think the “pimped our” Voyager scheme Siege is running with could be an interesting direction. Oddly enough keeping “everyone in scale” would also naturally lead to less “leader class figures”. We’ll see. I think another reason TR was swimming in leaders was the whole “Cybertron City” idea with all the base modes

A thought just crossed my mind.... what if they do a deep cut like the mega pretender Roadblock? I could see them fiddling around with the combat armor that could change between the shell and it’s plane mode. Though I don’t know if they would do the outer tank shell (which was my favorite part). I suppose they could pair him up with Thinderwing. Were there any other mega pretenders?

Maybe not every price point, but we know they always want a big Optimus on the shelves.

Speaking of. I got a feeling the new one (based off Magnus) might actually try and swing RiD/Car Robots. I know we’ve see that Cybertron/Galaxy Force-ish chest. But the way Magnus’ armor folds up in both modes gave me flashbacks to RiD Prime.
Ultimately I’m game either way. But I do appreciate the chunkier white prime compared to regular siege prime

I do like the spine connection on Ultra Magnus for his chest armor, that should be sturdy enough for Cybertron/Galaxy Fore Prime’s wings. Though if that takes up the “back” portion of the trailer. I wonder how the boot extensions would clip in? Effectively where/how Magnus’ shoulder pylons would in truck mode?

So I was toying around with the Magnus armor and came up with this. Works well enough with micromasters, and will probably blend in my. Only the boot/leg pieces are attached securely to the chest portion. The shoulder pieces are just places into a groove and the gauntlets are loosely clamped around the side pieces.

SpikeyTigertron wrote:Shockwave on the other hand, while simpler; I’m having a lot more fun with his extra parts. The drone/sled is solid. I have fun rearranging his shoulder parts. In their default configuration it feels like extra firepower/mobility. But if you reattached them by their sides.... suddenly it’s like he’s got massive rocket boosters. I think my *only* disappointment is I can’t figure out a laser turret mode like G1.
Shockwave's goblin glider is fantastic just because (1) it really does look like something he'd use in his lab and (2) it pegs so securely into his feet. I've got mine attached to a flight stand so Shockwave's hovering over CW Nova Prime's shoulder and eye-to-eye with my PotP Starscream combiner.
I remain convinced, though, that there should be something to do with the 'arms' on the barrel/flash-suppressor/whatever it is. The barrel has ports on the front and back, and the appendages coming off of it are decently articulated. So far the only thing I've come up with is pegging it into his back with the arms spread out, and then attaching the other stuff to the arms, but that looks dodgy at best.

I know Siege has had all the names revealed for the line, but for the next two parts of the trilogy I'm really hoping we get a decent Inferno/Grapple (especially Grapple as he didn't even get a POTP update). Also I wouldn't mind the "Unicron Trio" (Galvatron, Cyclonus and Scourge) revisited. Especially Cyclonus- the 08 toy is cool but a bit dated, and the CW toy is a bit "eh" IMO.

However, If they are scaling back in production all around with Leader Class, I can agree that would be a wise choice, they only made 2 Leaders in the first year of SS, and considering there is only one chain in my area that carries them (Target), that limits their availability, as they are constantly going in-and-out of stock. Also this is good, because hopefully the 2019 Leaders (Jetfire & DotM Megatorn) will be *easier* to find, for those that want them.
I had to order Skywarp online. Armada Megatron was the shelfwarmer here AND ALMOST NO OTHER CW LEADERS APPEARED EVER.

We had CW Skywarp at a local Walmart clearance down to $10...no joke. There are distribution issues for sure, but don't point blame, because no matter who you accuse, you will be told you are wrong. The one year formula of PotP fixed *some things*, still room for improvement though.

It’s not a fix, but you can put cogs’ two halves on top and they actually kinda have recesses for the wheels to sit in, it looks pretty cool actually

I don't think so, I've only done it with cog, but I think sideswipe should fit on top

Even though I'm much more partial to the comics than the cartoon, I wouldn't mind seeing a voyager figure of a Quintesson I the 2nd or 3rd part of the Trilogy. I don't remember ever seeing an official HasTak release of one. And I say voyager because if it's going to have 5 detailed faces, it would need the surface area.

So TonTon Review used a YouTube community post to hint that they're going to review Siege Ironhide next, which is exciting, as we'll finally see how Mr. Liquid Nitrogen himself works. That in itself is exciting. But it seems that TonTon Review also has Siege Greenlight! in the upper left, you can see Greenlight in vehicle mode.
This guy has guts to be stealing from the factory to be reviewing these.

Ugh. Yeah. I didn't actually know it was a known thing. I thought it was just speculation. Edited my original post to reflect this.
Still surprising he was able to get Greenlight. Ironhide, I can understand, he's a main retale release. But Greenlight is an exclusive.

To be fair, ironhide at least is due here in US in a couple of weeks (online) so wave 2 of siege could entirely be available near the production/shipping areas since they get them so much earlier (the studio stuff on the other hand is almost certainly stolen since those are so far off)
