I found Springer at a Target today, but they wouldn't let me buy it.
Why is that???
o.supreme wrote:As stated above, Walmart has been guilty in the past as well. Now you know, (and hopefully others do as well) so if it happens again, just cancel your transaction, go back to the toy aisle and get another of whatever you are trying to buy (say a Leader Shockwave), and ring it up, set it aside, and just walk out with the Leader Prime paid for.
Also as stated, some stores (Walmart or Target) will do overrides, and some will not, it's all random. But the fact that breaking these dates doesn't seem to have any real consequences shows that they are basically perfunctory. The *best* argument (if you could call it that) against this practice I've heard from employees is that it throws off their inventory. I'd wager that the amount of inventory discrepancy due to product pre-sale isn't even measurable next to inventory loss (i.e. theft), and overall mislabeling of product in general.

Sabrblade wrote:Shrute, eh? Another Fun Pub-original thing makes it into the mainstream.

I'm just saying that Fun Pub's Shrute used the Office guy's name first.o.supreme wrote:Sabrblade wrote:o.supreme wrote:Also, Is this the first TF named after a character from The Office....Sabrblade wrote:Shrute, eh? Another Fun Pub-original thing makes it into the mainstream.

ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:The Aimless version of the Blowpipe mold has double barrels doesn't look that much like the character "Shrute" is supposed to be (who is NOT a FunPub original, although they are the ones who finally gave him a personality). But I'll probably be accused of splitting hairs for saying this.
o.supreme wrote:Im sure we will, I just saw some 3D printed parts for Chromia to allow her to be a combiner. If it wasn't for the near certainty that we will be getting Lancer at some point, I'd be all over that.
o.supreme wrote:Yeah, I get that. Honestly, just looking at them, I cannot tell the humanoid Battlemasters apart, anything to make them more unique would be welcome.
