I left him a neutral and he leaves me a negative. Because "c9 means the figure, not the stickers". What a dope. AVOID because he's a big time seller but a certified jackoff!
Anyone ever dealt with wheeljackslab on ebay?

I wouldn't recommend it. This is the guy that sold me that "c9" rodimus prime with all the stickers peeling off, some (like the side flames) badly.

Wow, that's interesting. I bought from him and had no problems. Of course, all I bought from him were Metroplex accessories to complete a C9 condition rubber wheel metroplex a friend of mine found at a Goodwill. But I've always been leary of buying figures from him. Guess my instincts were not for off?

What did the pictures of the item look like when you bid on it? If it was way different than the item you got, you can call the guy up and demand an the correct item that you bid on. If it is different that is what we call fraud.

I bought a G1 kup from him that came as pictured. Although it did take a month+ to receive it. I think it was because I paid with a check and it had to clear first.

i had considered doing business with him...the i did a little research. Turns out he's notorious for doing that...and his standards for c9 on the FIGURE are waaaaay low. Read stories of c9 purchases that came with stress cracks or broken parts. Seems like the only people taht are ever really satisfied with there purchase from him are those intentionally buying junk figures or accessories.

I found a few more examples of his activities through a google search.
I'm more mad about the negative than the crappy toy. I left him a neutral as to not be a jerk. I paid within a minute of the auction ending.
Toy Condition: c9 with light wear, needs light cleaning. This is not a reissue, remake or fake of any kind. You get the item shown.
Sticker Condition: some have some wear Joint Condition: Tight

From his lame pic you can't tell the stickers are peeling. The thing was filthy as hell. I wrote him via email but he said it was as stated.
I'm no pro grader of anything but I should also mention the front wheels and arms are bent out some and the thing transforms so stiff it feels like its going to break.

I've had mixed experiences with his grading too.
Not only that, but twice he has sent the wrong parts and once he sold me a 'complete' pretender without the robot in the shell.

Oh yeah...Wheeljack's Lab. He's not a very kind person in general.
You add that in with a business transaction that's usually less than stellar, and you've got a recipe for a poopy transaction.
I was going to purchase a couple of figures from him about 6 or 7 years ago, but when he asked me "Just how ****ing retarded are you? Can't you understand the ratings scale?" that was it.
And when I sent a scathing email back, all he replied with was "Blah blah, bitch bitch bitch. I could give a **** about getting any of your business. I've sold and will sell more than you're worth."
I decided to not even respond past that point. It wasn't worth it. Total dick.
Plus he wanted something like $25.00 more than the one figure was even worth.

Same here. I can't remember which figure I bought from him but his C9 was different than mine, that's for damn sure. I'll use him for parts, but that's about it. I won't risk replacing my old figures that need new stickers or fresh chrome with the figures that he sells.
The thing that kind of is odd about his auctions is that he only uses one picture of the figure. It's really tough to judge a Transformer if you only show a picture of it in robot mode or in it's alternate mode.
dit138 on the other hand, he's my favorite eBay seller. I think I end up buying something from him about every other week. My most recent purchase from him is the sticker sheet for Squeezeplay so that I can finish the galleries of the Headmaster juniors that I promised a month or so ago along with Action Master Grimlock's Action Master tank thing (mine has been broken for about 10 years). Great dealer. Extremely fast. Can't say enough great things about dit138. He's a little expensive, but sometimes you just pay for what you get and dit138's worth every penny I send him.

Yikes. I must say, this all shocks me. I've never had anything but decent dealings with the site in question...of course, I primarily use it for parts to finish off G1s... Sure, his replies are short and not too friendly-sounding, but I just attributed that to the fact that he was one guy doing all the work and didn't have time for chit-chat. I currently have an order placed from him, and I've gotten good communication about what was available, the price, and the clearance of my e-check, so.....
..not quite sure what to make of all this.
I'll probably continue to do business, but I guess I'll limit it to the G1 parts department and search for complete figures elsewhere...
Wow.

Consider his grading scale to be well below what you would expect. Anything below a 9.5 and you'll probably be disappointed.

TFW2005 has a thread running with the worst ebay sellers listed and he is the top guy in their list I have considered buying from him many times only to go back and read that thread and decide not to.

If you ask me thats a BS excuse. if you are going to get into customer service in manner, than you need to be prepared to deal with customes. Its kinda in the job-description.

he obviously has no concept of value nor does he really understand the variety of people in this hobby. I know there are multiple people on this board alone that could easily out-earn him. According to his skewed definition, those people are worth more.

Hell, you think thats bad...have you actually seen his website. He doesn't even have pictures posted of the actual bot he's selling, he uses all stock photos. The funny thing is that he has "guidelines for buying off ebay" posted on his site(or he used to)...and one of the top items was "Do not trust a seller that is not willing to post a picture"

I've always avoided this guy like the plague. I've passed on some figures I really want that he has because I don't trust him. I asked him a question about a G1 Wheeljack he was selling, only to be told, "Either buy it or don't. If you don't buy it someone will."
It also bothers me how he'll take a complete figure and nickel and dime out every little piece, and by nickel and dime I mean charge and arm and a leg for every part. I understand it's his right and that he'll make more that way but why would I attempt to buy a yellowing Jetfire from him at the same price someone is selling him at MIB? Then I have to turn around and buy the left leg aromor, right leg armor, gun, right arm armor, left arm armor, styrofoam, box, etc. I'd end up paying 7 or 8 times the amount as a MIB from another seller, if not more. I understand people may only need a certain piece or part but it seems kind of ridiculous.

A-freakin' men!
I love dit138. I just got a G1 Hun-Grrr from him last week... The shipping was speedy, the toy packaged very safely... overall just a great seller that will definitely be getting my business in the future. I DEFINITELY recommend him.
As for Wheeljackslab, never dealt with him... after reading some of the stuff in this thread though, I know now to pretty much steer clear...

Fine, but my point was that the service I've received from him (parts quality, shipping time, etc.) has been good--I'm not going to stop ordering from him at this point because he types 2 sentences as opposed to typing me a page and a half about how I'm the greatest customer ever. To each his own.
However, if he'd essentially cussed me out, as he's apparently done to someone else....well, that's a different story.

I by no means am trying to tell you not to order from him if you have had positive experience. But there is a huge difference between being short, sweet, and to the point and just being an ass. From what i have heard majority of his customers receive the latter, and i feel that future customers should at the very least be forwarned.

Agreed. Like I said, if he had been that much of a jerk to me, I'd stop buying from him as well.

Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Me too. Only positive experiences, although his customer service is a little lacking. I emailed him once about some Metroplex parts I needed and couldn't remember (while at work) if it was a left or right fist I needed. His response was a little curt, but I didn't think too much or anything of it.

For parts I've never had a problem with him. However the few figures I've bought have been less then described and his customer service is real poopy.
dit138 on the other hand has gotten so much of my money its unreal. Definitely an A+ person to deal with. slightly higher prices but quality and customer service are worth it.
