While at on of my local Targets in Marietta, Georgia today, I came across the movie Preview Starscream and Optimus Prime figures. They had several of each. Also, all of the Classics, and other existing figures, were on clearance.

I don't know if this is old news or not, but I was surprised when I saw them today! :grin:

Sadly, that is not the case in mid-Michigan.

EDIT: Sadly, I was refering more to the movie preview figures than the classics

It is the case in SW Florida. Voyagers were $13.98.

Saw Classics on clearance at two Targets in Northwest Chicago.

Also scored the movie preview figures at K-Mart on Addison.

The way you phrased the topic, I thought the movie preview figures were on clearance already. That seemed pretty fast to me. ^_^

Anyhow, I was in the target in Westminster, Maryland, and saw no movie preview figures. Not that I mind, I got impatient and ordered mine from Hasbro Toy Shop, so they arrived on my doorstep yesterday. I like them.

I was just in my local K-Mart, which sucks, and they had what looked like 20+ Previews sitting on the top shelf, 10.99. I was going to pick them up, but alas, I was low on cash.

Every Target I have gone to in Michigan today (several over a 100 mile radius) have deluxe classics for $6.98 and voyager classics for $13.98.

I've given up on the Target and Wal-mart in and near Bowie,MD. Target seems to be phaseing out all TF figures and Wal-mart has 3 Metroplex, a few Titaniums and a bunch of Mirage and Cliffjumpers

Are you saying that the protoform figures are exclusive to Wal-Mart or the Classics Constructicon/Devestator set?

The Constructicons/Devestator are indeed a Wal-Mart exclusive. The movie protoform figures will be/are available everywhere, and are at, at least, two of my Targets right now.

Classics Voyager: $13.98
Classics Deluxe: $6.98
Classics Minicons: $4.88
Classics Prime vs. Megatron Ultimate Battle set: $13.98
Attactix 4-Pack: $6.98
Attactix 2-Pack: $3.48

Well, at the Targets I visited, it's very clear who the least-favorite Classics figure was, in general:
Mirage.
There's still several of him left. Of course, there are minicons, Primes, and the Prime v. Megs two-pack left as well, but of those I'm only counting Prime, and they made what, a million of him? The rest are gone.

Walmart and both Targets enar me have had the Movie figs for like 10 days now.

Yeah, most of the TRUs, Targets, and Wal-Marts near me all have them now. Target is no longer special (especially since it's after May 1st).

It seems they may have dropped the price again!!!

I picked up a classic Mirage for only $4.98, in Clinton Twp,MI

The problem is they dont have much left....I am going to try and hit some other targets in my area today...

EDIT: the $4.98 price tag was over a $6.98 tag...

People complaining about the previews not being on clearance should count themselves lucky they can find them at all!
I live in England so probably won't be able to find the protos in the shops until a couple of years after the film has come out... and even then, they'll probably be overpriced...

I haven't seen them on clearance yet. It would be a little soon and only a result of a store screwing up, but it has happened before (namely with Primus).
