As a Bears fan, we HAVE had enough of Lovie. His clock management is often questionable and his addiction to the Cover 2 defense is sad...especially since pretty much everyone knows how to exploit it now. However, I don't know if I've ever seen a coach get more out of his talent. THe Bears talent-wise are really pathetic but Lovie has now gotten them into the NFC title game twice. The problem is actually the next level up: Jerry Angelo. Jerry is one of the worst GM's EVER in regards to drafting talent. Of his draft picks, a remarkable 66% AREN'T EVEN IN FOOTBALL ANYMORE. His first round picks- with the exception of Peanut Tillman- have been flops. Rashan Salaam...Cade McNown...Rex Grossman...Cedric Benson..et al. THe only round he seems to excel at is the second round (Matt Forte is a great example). Jerry makes up for it by signing overpriced free agent vets (Brandon Manumaleuna and Chester Taylor, Adewale Ogunleye, among others) though he hit the jackpot with Julius Peppers- a player that even Brian Urlacher is literally in awe of. If the Bears could get a GM that was worth their salt and could choose talent rather than literally flopping every single year, with Lovie as coach they could truly be a remarkable team.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.
