Surprised no one's talking about all this goodness that's on display at the event, as seen in the gallery. Sure, we got a peak at some of it (mostly MP Star Saber) from Tag Hobby, but the Seibertron gallery of pics taken by Shumi are WAY more thorough and vast. There must be at least one of almost every TF figure ever made on display there!

Tomy released a Black HFTD Prime before, it was a Lawsons exclusive. So if AD-18 is black HFTD, the deco better be different, cuz that Lawsons exclusive had to be ordered in store and bundled with a movie ticket, in other words, pain.

Could be black DOTM though, but personally I don't like the proportions.

That wasn't a Nemesis Prime deco, though.

yeah, I realized after I posted it's just that the "stacks" on the bot mode got a paint app. I felt stupid

The paint apps on the standard TakaraTomy version *really* show just how nice that mold is. Almost night and day with the Hasbro version (although it retails for like twice as much).

Nemesis Prime look awesome. However, Nemesis Grimlock? That PURPLE kill it. There should have been no purple. Instead, The purple parts should have been black with the claws/nails the same color as the teeth.

No matter, both of them WILL sell for absurd inflated prices becasue they are for a Japanese TF expo only.

The bat, silly. Mutant Beast Wars Soundwave, changes from Bat to Alligator, if he doesn't fall apart from Gold Plastic Syndrome first.

Oops. Well, I hope you can forgive the fact that my eye caught the MASSIVE toy central to the frame of the picture and didn't notice little "boner bat" off in the corner there.

And that's not just Mutant Beast Wars Soundwave. That's the original Animorphs version with the human face inside the bat's mouth!

That whole display is filled with rare or unproduced items.

If I had to guess, I'd estimate that the inside of the bat chest panel could possibly be the shirt of the inner human.

It was the first image in your list of links that I was looking at that for some reason looked phallic to me. It was just the angle.

Wait, at the bottom of that first picture, is that a Detritus redeco of Classics Hound? Was that planned at some point!? And further to the left, I spy a blue redeco of Classics Bumblebee. I remember that popping up a few years back. I think Peaugh from YouTube picked one up and reviewed it. This is some obscure stuff, to be sure.

Was Beast Wars Neo Unicron the only thing people noticed in that display?

Yes. I'm pretty sure most of these were Protoypes or planned figures that never made it into production. There many more prootypes in Ryan's Galleries.

Those showcases blew my socks off. I felt bad for even noticing the early version of Godbomber was absent.

G1 Unicron prototype, Flocked Primal, Torca resin model are totally awesome and i want them. I'd love for someone to make a figure of that early Unicron. I've been desperate for one ever since i saw images of the unreleased prototype years ago.

The flocked Primal is something you can do but it's a pain in the butt to flock a figure yourself. The method manufactures use to flock is hard to reproduce at home.

I would love an MP scale Torca. Being he was meant to be an extremely large character a MP scaled one would be appropriate but i'd like it to be as nicely sculpted as that resin model is.

As for its size, it was probably used as a guide for the prduction crew to map out the details of what the actual, mass-produced, smaller heads.

Does anyone know if there are pre-orders out there for these yet? I swore I had these and the QT ones pre-ordered at BBTS but I can't find them on their site and they're not in my pre-orders so I must be imagining things. Just want to make sure that I didn't miss pre-orders for these if they've been available.
