Seibertron.com forum member Cyberpath has brought us news via PureXBox.com of a potential new Transformers game being developed by Activision for the X-Box console.

The cel-shaded browser, reminiscent of the classic Sunbow Entertainment Generation 1 cartoon style will see a X-Box 360 release and most likely a release for the X-Box One. Very little about the game is known but it's expected that more details of the game will be revealed at E3 2015 next week.

i am not a fan of cell shaded games at all but this looks awesome. they look like they jumped right off the cartoon screen.

I'm a big G1 fan and this looks great! The shade Technology fits good in there and reminds me of the shades introduced in transformers the movie.

Just hope the Gameplay will give the feel of a good Entertaining Game.

Yeah the cell shading looks too good for the G1 cartoon and much more like the animated movie as said. Could be a fun game but I'm not a fan of the cartoon and I don't have Xbox. I'd be open to trying out a demo on playstation some day if it happens.

The environment brings up bad memories of the Movie 1 game. Sure hope this one doesn't have those stupid timers and "action" zones.

To be a true G1 game, the battle chargers need to be replaced with purple air warriors and the swords replaced with energy weapons similar to Prime's axe. Automobile alt modes are looked down upon in the Decepticons.

I dig the visual style! Looks really similar to spider man shattered dimensions. Hopefully the gameplay's good, I won't judge the game until I see some gameplay. Let's hope it's not just a generic beat-em-up game....

Oooh snap. I just read the article and now I reallllllllllllllllllly hope that platinum games is developing this.

Not really a fan of the "baked chrome" effect they have going on with the textures, but i guess I'll wait till a video is out before i open the floodgate to my drools

Cartoons and films come and go, but the Sunbow show is forever.

Just this week I was thinking how cool it would be to have a cel-style "G1" video-game.

I hope the game is as much fun as it is pretty!

Looks amazing.

Always thought the Battle chargers would make good army builders. In fact I wanted them repainted as the purple watchdogs from the Ultimate Doom.
I think these drones should be called Watchdogs.

All the characters from the preview images (Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, and Devastator) have something in common -- their original voice-actors are still active.

Here's hoping they will reprise their roles!

(Frank Welker alone voiced a dozen characters.)
