I dont have the energy or time to draw anything right now, i am just putting the word out there for other people to act upon.

Wow, what page from your book full of non-witty retorts did you get that one from?
Seriously, if you are just gonna laugh at other peoples disabilities then you can go to hell.

I think we should definitely discuss something with the powers that be about having a spotlight every week for one piece of artwork and a little about the artist. We can use the same artists over and over, as long as everyone gets a shot. I've been getting better and would like to have something shown once I feel the quality is good enough. Nothing wrong with Grim having a weekly strip if he wants to commit to that. It's already been proven to be popular and it's a definite springboard for his career, so why not? Just let the little guys get some of the action as well.

I am all for the gallery, as a matter of fact I was in on the original discussion ages ago-i think its a great idea, and it has work really well on tfmaster-just check it out!
Although it will never happen unless people are committed to it-it would suck for the dmin to set it up, and then have like 4 sad drawings sitting there. These things require more than forum moaning, people gotta put in the effort required and show that they are relyable

That's a good idea, Grim. At least it's a good way for people to showcase their stuff in any case. It would be up to the administrators. I don't know how many artists we have floating around here but it'd be a cool way to see them.

It shouldnt be like a job it should be about fun! Not that i think the mods should take anything you say seriously anyway since all you do is talk down to people and act like an ass unless they can kiss yours.
You have to get it through your thick skull that not everyone does this, or thinks of it as, a job and that they just do it as a hobby or something to do to pass the time or when they feel like it. Or most importantly BECAUSE THEY LIKE IT! If you are gonna go around and demand some new piece every week then people are going to get fed up and burned out with drawing and that is unnaceptable.
This shouldnt be made out to be like it has to be some commitment, it should be entirely voluntary and for people to submit stuff WHEN THEY FEEL LIKE IT.
Stop thinking like you are the only person on earth and learn to understand that other people have other commitments, or problems or disabilities and cant and wont commit to something thats going to make them feel like they have to come into work every time they log into the site!
ffs get the hell over yourself and stop being such an ass already.
Im really getting fed up with your ignorant, self indulgent, lack of consideration for other people attitude on this matter. I personally think you dont even deserve to have any spot light with an attitude like you have.
Not that you'll read a word of this and just type some retarded comeback in the form of a bunch of smilies or some "lol" signs.

People shouldnt be made to feel pressured about submitting art for some deadline like Grim is making it out to seem.
As i keep saying it should be availaible IF someone wants to submit some art. Like i said there should obviously be some sort of quality control to ensure that we dont get flooded with lame stick-figure drawings by 4 year olds. But it should be there incase people wish to use it. They can submit their art, someone can judge it and deem it worthy to be featured and then if it is put it up on the site and thats it, end of story and no pressure. Then we wait for the next person to draw something but we SHOULD NOT pressure people to submit anything or to get it done before some deadline, because not only will that put people off but it will defeat the whole purpose of drawing which is FUN. (at least its meant to be but to a certain person it all has to be HIS way)

Before the admins go through the time and effort to put something like this up, there has to be enough interest for it to be worth it. It should be fun and without pressure, but they need to know it's worth the work to do it.

Guys! Please, if you must bicker amongst yourselves, do it in PMs or in another thread. I did not post my work here to have it be the cause of such animosity between you two.
Nothing is decided until the Admins have their say. No use arguing about it until there is something to argue about.
Now please return to civilized conversation and keep this in PMs where it belongs. If you really have a beef, both of you take it up with the Admins.

Very nice pic, the shading adds to it, not typical TF style which is good. Now lets see it finished

That's alright. *Hugs all around.* I might be finished with it by the end of the month or so. We'll see. It's been literally years since I've picked up a pencil and put it to paper, so bear with me as I relearn how to draw.

Same for me! Except I've never drawn TFs before now, so it's pretty new to me.

I started fooling around in Photoshop and colored what I had. Tell me if the color is alright.
I used a transparent layer to color this so I didn't ruin the original scan. She takes the form of a teal Lamborghini Murcielago LP640.

Ahhh. I was using inches. Will do with the next scan tonight. I did a lot last night and I want to get the face halfway done before I scan it again. It shouldn't take me too long.

Looking great so far, and I like the idea of colouring the unmodified pencils; it has kind of a watercolour feel to it. A lot of artists (myself included) tend to go for the black outlines for colouring, this is an interesting spin.
Slightly OT, but in regards to the suggestion of a gallery, it's supposed to be happening when Ryan gets round to integrating TFMaster/Transtopia into Seibertron. The plan appears to be a gallery submission system possibly in the vein of the old Demiurgic City, only better. Unfortunately the timetable seems to be up in the air, but it is on the cards.
