so let me get ths right. mp rodimus prime wont be on tru online!!!! if so, thats sad for the people that camp on that website. but this will make it to store, right? normally the mp's for toysrus come out after comic-con or at least that is what happened with grimlock in my area! for my area it finally show up in store about 2 and a half week later in virginia. to be honest they only got a case of three (i was piss forthe small amount of new figures)!!! so i got one and i was planning on going to come back the next day to get one for a feloow collecter and they where gone. so i hope there are a surplus of theseMp rodimus primes this year

Here's what I don't get. Toys R Us stocks a bazillion ROTF G1 deco Mixmaster and Hoist, and they don't sell. They stock a bazillion ROTF Master of Metallikato, and they don't sell. Eventually they knock off $5 to make you think you're getting a good deal. They still don't sell.

Then they stock about 5 MP Grimlocks, and they sell out, and they don't restock. WTF?

man counterpunch is so cool. anyways back on topic, this kinda sucks but hopefully toys r us has exclusives on their shelves. if not, then seibertronians unite!

I'm sure it'll be on TRU.com, but he won't be on BBTS or Robotkingdom. I suspect they'll be able to obtain a limited stock, but it will be limited and the prices will be higher.

This is the kinds of things that make you glad ToysRus is the only major toy store in your country, which has the size of only 270sqr

From BotCon pictures, July 2011 for $49.99; what may help you is to know that TRU restocks on Tuesday/Wednesday (at least in this area). So you have a few days before your competitor makes his way out. Well, at least THAT competitor...

I'd say you have it nailed on both counts.
This is not Hasbro's doing, this is TRU and they are more than justified in doing this and I hope to hell they take legal action against the primary distributor and then start in on the online retailers who are knowingly and willfully engaging in blatantly illegal activity.

Those of you who think you are entitled to whatever the hell comes out of Hasbro's front door and think you should be able to get it by any and all means necessary, you folks are just as guilty as the retailers as far as I'm concerned. For those of you "die-hard" collectors who hunt down exclusives, think about it: If the market is flooded with "exclusives" from other sources other than the contract holder for said exclusive, that toy's value becomes exactly jack...diddly...sh**!!! So I say "Go For It TRU! Nail their asses to the wall while you're at it!"

Woah woah woah. The way I read it there's no illegal activity here yet. And TRU doesn't care about other retailers selling their exclusives, they just want a piece of the pie. Especially since they are now partnered with Entertaiment Earth and dabbling in the collector's market more.
