I like the transformation. I like the bot. I like the fact they combine.

...yet, for some reason I'm just not compelled to buy it. Probably because it's a character I don't give a flyin' crap about.

...why can't people cut their fingernails? Yeesh.

You don't have to be metrosexual to want a man to cut his fingernails. Unless he's a guitarist or an artist (where nails can be necessary), it's just disgusting to most people to pull a Fu Manchu and let those claws grow. I'd think it would be more metrosexual to take on a feminine appearance, such as long fingernails.

If someone told him to go get a manicure, that'd definitely be metro. Telling someone to cut their nails is just class.

I have him now and he's one sweet bot! Thinking of getting another just to put a classics Hound head on it (I hate classics Hound with a loathing that passeth all understanding)

I am on board for the rest of the TBs but I really hope the combining crap doesn't comprimise from this level of solidity/poseability in the "torso" Bots. That WOULD be stupid.

way too pricey for me. and it looks like the others will be a departure from their toy and cartoon appearances so Ill skip and hope Igear comes out with them instead

Good to hear you's guys are receiving your Rollbar homages, but may I ask, how is the buid/plastic quality?

I ask only due to recent reports, specifically via another fansite, that front paged how bad the Megatron homage 'Hegemon' had turned out, something about cheap plastic, stress marks and such like.

They really put old bucket on the chopping block, building him up then knocking him down!

Im holding for a Hasbro V2 of Megatron but Hegemon is pretty sweet looking, as too are Rollbar and Searchlight!

GrindRod is pretty solid and doesn't have the issues that Hegemon had.

GrindRod is pretty solid and doesn't have the issues that Hegemon had.

Agreed, he is worth the price. There are a few minor marks in the plastic, but they are so small that it isn't an issue. It just feels like a well made toy.

Could you link me, please? I own Hegemon and I have no complaints. I'd like to see these trouble areas.
