Seibertron.com member S250 has updated his website 52toys.com with some new rumors of who might be showing up in Season 3 of Transformers Animated.

For those of you who don't know, S250 if a very legit source rumors that become fact.

Curious to who they are? Well S250 describes them as "Old Guys" with his typical two letters out of each name style of hinting.

Both are reported to look very close to their G1 designs.

Dai Atlas in TF Animated? But he was never in the US version of G1? Alot of people won't even know who he is.

And by the hints Old Bots it lends to Alpha Trion.

My first guess was Astrotrain...but I spose he's not an old guy. If it is Alpha Trion, thats cool! Got stumped on the other one...Dai Atlas these people are saying.

Considering how TFA loves to throw in those references to previous eras and franchises, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if they go for an obscure (stateside at least) one like Dia Atlas.

It's probably Alpha Trion. Astrotrain is spelt as one word, not two... Unless they've had to change it for some reason. Or just to mess with us. It -would- be cool if it was the Space Choo-Choo that shows up to rescue Megatron from deep space...

I am assuming they might be old autobot leaders that might serve in a few flashbacks or something, Either way if they might have Dai Atlas in ANimated thers a 1 in a million chance of more japanese characters turning up ^_^

Why does the awful Alpha Trion keep turning up in new versions of TF? Bad enough we're getting Wheeljack and Perceptor? What's next? Kup? Why is it all the crap Transformers?

Still, Dai Atlas sounds interesting.

I agree with Alpha Trion. Has to be...with that in mind, how long before we see a reference to Vector Sigma?

Dai Atlas? I like it! Hmmm...I'm thinking maybe one of the mods can put up a link to some reference for him...I know a lot of the newer fans aren't familiar with him so that may help.

Astrotrain would be nice but before even seeing the comments, I was sure it was Alpha Trion and Dai Atlas. Not too sure who Dai Atlas is. I think he is from Zone, as far as I can remember. The leader of the Autobots I think. I do know there is a Universe 1.0 toy of King Atlas which I believe is the English version.

Fun times with DAI ATLAS, the new Autobot leader in Transformers: Zone (following Star Saber).

Known for his awesome rolling style attacks, and ability to transform 'Zone' style with his compatriots--Sonic Bomber, and Roadfire (Roadfire not in ZONE episode). Also they could combiner to form the ultimate ship, BIG POWERED. ZONE, the series, was limited to one 30 minute show, and then gone. It introduced Dai Atlas, and Sonic Bomber, as they battled the nine Destron generals (look similar to in many cases their original forms, but with melee weapons and capes: Predaking, Overlord, Trypticon, Devastator, and more.

Not really... Ratchet wasn't super old in G1 it was Ironhide and Kup. The writers can pretty much change what ever they want. Just because Astrotrain came before Dia Atlas in G1 it doesn't mean he's older, Does that mean Trailbreaker is older than Kup because he appeared first NO.

Zone was the last gasp of G1. Dai Atlas was the star of Zone. So yeah. Dai Atlas is G1.

Dai Atlas, NICE! Maybe this means we'll get other Japanese exclusive leaders in Animated as well, like Star Saber, Metalhawk, and Black Zarak. That would be awesome.
