Ultra Magnus

Here is my repaint of the Beast Hunter Optimus Prime. If I ever wanted an Ultra Magnus repaint of an Optimus Prime figure, it would be this one. And this figure looks great with the RID Ultra Magnus weapon. This mold with the gun/hammer is just badass.

Now there's a thing of beauty! Whatever dislikes I had for the toy itself has been remedied in your custom. I used to think the alt mode looked a little like a garbage truck, but with the cannon mounted on top, it completely eliminates the garbage truck look. It now looks like a Mad Max-esque six-wheeled weapon of mass destruction.
The weathering on this is just beautiful!
BTW, what colors did you use as the basecoat for the hammer before dry-brushing? Black or dark gray?

Thanks for telling! I'm also attempting drybrushing for a metallic finish on a mechtech weapon. If it looks anywhere near as good as your UM hammer, I'll be a happy camper.
