MGrotusque wrote:Not impressed in the least. Nowhere near as interesting a figure as Troll is. Plus the price points on these figs is a little steep as well.
I can easily pass on this combiner and wait for another company to have a go and see what they do.

I definitely agree that when compared to Troll, this guy isn't very impressive, but as a figure in it's own right, I think it's a good figure. It has some fun transformations and looks the part in all three modes. It does suffer a lot in alt mode since it has so little articulation. I don't blame people for holding off and waiting on another company to tackle Abominus, but I just don't think it'll happen anytime soon, and I'm far too impatient! : )

For Troll, people said UT was approaching MMC in engineering and ingenuity... if they had actually matched MMC, I probably would have splurged on these guys, but it seems to be all downhill from Troll.
rescue heroes look good compared to TFP abominus.Tsutsukakushi wrote:Might consider buying all of the UT terrorcons. As I think they look better than the HasTak TFP Abonimus.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:Based off the Gigantic scale and beautiful extreme high sculpting these UT Terrorcons have. I'm going to heavily guess and Speculate that the Warbotron freelancers or crew created this for UT.

So far the limb bots are the same size as the feral rex limb bots. Hopefully theyll do the right thing like MMC did and scale hun-grr so he isnt much taller than his troops. There is no need to have Shaq leading a team of midgets to the ball court. Leo Dux pulled off the scale in all modes quite well and avoided the hideous oversized torso and warbotron height. Im hoping UT does the same. Im waiting to see hun-grr before I invest in this set.

For me, it's not about complexity, it's about integration. Having the two beast necks/heads hanging off the back doesn't really do it for me.
if only they hadnt set the bar so high with troll...megatronus wrote:For me, it's not about complexity, it's about integration.
