I can easily pass on this combiner and wait for another company to have a go and see what they do.

I definitely agree that when compared to Troll, this guy isn't very impressive, but as a figure in it's own right, I think it's a good figure. It has some fun transformations and looks the part in all three modes. It does suffer a lot in alt mode since it has so little articulation. I don't blame people for holding off and waiting on another company to tackle Abominus, but I just don't think it'll happen anytime soon, and I'm far too impatient! : )

I'm with you. I wasn't going to buy in on Ordin, choosing instead to wait on MMC since I loved Feral Rex. Then Troll came out. I got him. And I think I am now all in on the rest. That's not to say I won't be interested in another take. But, so far, Troll has exceeded my expectations. UT has certainly upped their game since their version of Predaking.

UT makes great stuff, no doubt, but I just can't part with $105.00 a limb and God knows how much for the torso, just no.

Even FP's Intimidator/Menasor was cheaper than that. Plus, with Hasbro releasing their own combiners now, I'd like to see what will be offered in the line before I go and spend more on 3rd party. (That said, I have zero regrets buying the 3rd party combiners that I do have.)

Superion is a solid set of figures, there's no need for me to obtain TFC's ridiculous version. Hasbro's Menasor, however, I'm glad I went with Intimidator. I think 3rd party and Hasbro combiners look nice together on the shelf. They all look very pretty and expensive. lol

While i do like the looks of these, i can't really afford them at this moment (same goes for FP sixknight). maybe later on, but maybe another group will do an Abominus. I'd like to see what MMC can do with him.

This guy could have been great if they didn't just flip the beast heads onto his back. As it is, it's a mediocre and unimaginative attempt, in my opinion.

For Troll, people said UT was approaching MMC in engineering and ingenuity... if they had actually matched MMC, I probably would have splurged on these guys, but it seems to be all downhill from Troll.

I can't help but find both Alberich and Fenrir to be lacking when compared with Troll(those arms are pure genius!). Alberich may have some complexity in him still, but Fenrir looks just a tad bit 'basic'.

Yeah, I think I'll wait for TFC or MakeToys or somebody to do an Abominus. Myself I'd like to see someone do him and give him hooves in his combined mode.

Im loving the beast heads flipped to the back G1 style. I hated the stupid beast hunters "heads for arms" concept it looked so silly. I need to see hun-grr before I decide on this. If he is a nice voyager/ultra scale im in. If he is a ridiculous sized bot that dwarves the others like TFC Ares, im out. Also need to see the combiner height. I need it to be close to feral rex, not warbotron. Also hope its scramble city because the IDW configuration sucks.

Think sinnertwin looks amazing.

Loving all of these UT Terrorcons.

Might consider buying all of the UT terrorcons. As I think they look better than the HasTak TFP Abonimus.

Hoping and wishing UT Hun-gurr is a leader scale toy. Which I'm strongly guessing it will be based off TFC recently doing those combiner team leaders in the Leader scale.

I love the look of these guys, and love the Troll I have, but I need to refocus and just concentrate on MPs and 3rd party MPs (with some Combiner Wars sprinkled in) now.

Sadly I'll be selling Troll, but I still look forward to seeing this completed.

Based off the Gigantic scale and beautiful extreme high sculpting these UT Terrorcons have. I'm going to heavily guess and Speculate that the Warbotron freelancers or crew created this for UT.

But these look nothing like the Wabotron cons, in design or aesthetic.

Just because they're "gigantic scale" doesn't mean the same people designed them all.

So far the limb bots are the same size as the feral rex limb bots. Hopefully theyll do the right thing like MMC did and scale hun-grr so he isnt much taller than his troops. There is no need to have Shaq leading a team of midgets to the ball court. Leo Dux pulled off the scale in all modes quite well and avoided the hideous oversized torso and warbotron height. Im hoping UT does the same. Im waiting to see hun-grr before I invest in this set.

I have no problem with ST, yeah he's a little basic but how complex can his transformation get?

Im all in on this i just love the beast modes of abominus so much so i would double dip with the next company doin this(mmc hopefully) and have a combiner and a set of beast modes on display.

For me, it's not about complexity, it's about integration. Having the two beast necks/heads hanging off the back doesn't really do it for me.

Saying that, one of Feral Rex's main (if only) weaknesses is his proportions, notably his kinda tiny torso. Hun-Gurr needs to be a fair bit bigger than the limb-bots or the combined mode will look weird.

Yeah i see what mean. I would have like to have seen them at least clip in postion lol idealy the two heads sit in the back its self camouflaged.

I didnt like the head arms from the prime line but this is g1 even if its a lazy design and not executed well haha, ill take it.

I think that was their strategy... start strong with the best team member, and hope that creates enough buy in for the rest. It's just too bad the other two reveals were somewhat less impressive. They're not awful by any means, but Troll is definitely is high note so far.

Despite looking good, I think the Terrorcons after Troll/Blot doesn't have the wow factor anymore.

I think sinnertwin is the best out of the three so far. Unlike the fan favorite blot, sinnertwins beast mouths open and close. Plus those posable necks are awesome. I could care less if the transformation isnt complex. I wanna have fun and enjoy the figure, not sit there and be stumped figuring out a stupid puzzle. If I wanted a brain challenge I would pick up a Rubix Cube. I really hope Hun-grr isnt stupidly oversized so I can get in on this. Its unique toys so I dont see it selling out but you never know.
