"Complex" and "cleverly engineered" are two completely different things.

Distinctions aren't your strong suit, huh?

Oddly enough, when I realized that this guy couldn't be an arm, I lost interest.

Like FP Menasor, I thought Quantron fell under the fiddly and complex label.

Smart Robin is probably the poster boy for cleverly engineered transformations.

My point is, language is important. Choose your words wisely.

Funny. I find better ways to stimulate my mind than figuring out toys. Figuring out different women is a lot more self satisfying. Girls make great puzzles. ;)

Truth be told I get more satisfaction out of displaying my figures than transforming them. Some only get transformed once. So whether the transformation is clever or lazy doesnt really bring a wow factor to me. The wow factor comes in when I see an entire cast displayed together as I sip on a beer. I can just stare at them for over an hour without even picking them up. Thats why Im so big on cartoon scale and accuracy.

Was curious to see what Animal mode Blot has. So I did a quick wiki check.

http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Blot_(G1)
Blot transforms into a navy blue and lavender monster. What sort of monster is a hard factor to determine, as the details molded into him don't particularly point to any one creature. His shoulder span and long arms indicate something ape-like, while his pointed nose and sloped head give him a mole-like appearance. Pretty much, if you say Blot looks like something (say, a giant ambulatory nose), he has a decent chance of actually looking like it.

Damn...what did I start ?

But in all seriousness, the most satisfying transformations are the ones that dont test my patience. Every time I spend over an hour trying to transform a figure, I ask myself what if I spent that time doing something else ? Thats just me.

Whats annoying is that they keep posing Abominus next to figures that dont give us the size comparison we all want to see. Why cant they just stand him next to hercules or feral rex ? Sure it might cost them a few sales but it will also boost a few sales if they just be upfront instead of avoiding size comparisons.

The pics with Galvy has sold me for classics purposes X, also for me if Abominus winds up being my biggest gestalt I'm alright with that for the type of character he's portrayed as.

My ideal Decepticon combiner scale goes like this in my head.

MT Giant
FP Menasor
UT Predaking(I like the idea of a lean studio ox predaking)
UT Abominus
MBC Bruticus
