I like the different faces with different colors. it makes these better than the any troop builders TFCC has done.

These are actually more between Scout & Deluxe size - it doesn't get much smaller than Classics BB, but these guys seemed to have managed it.

Forgot about that. I think the new Armada-style Starscream is smaller than BB, too. Sigh.

Classics Rodimus was also a small deluxe.

Offhand, FP's Stunticons, FoC Shockwave, FP's Insecticons, Label Soundwave, and Thunderwing are all on the small side. So are the members of FP - enhanced Bruticus, but I don't know if it's fair to hold that against him. I *think* Octane is also on the small side, but I can't say for certain, ditto Scourge.

And then you have MMC's Predacons, Hegemon, and Blitzwing - all on the large side, just enough to really stand out inappropriately among their peers.

The Giant and Herc members are sized well, IMO. The UT Preds are also sized well (I think, I went with MMC for other reasons).

Decepticon sizes really bug me, actually. Can you tell? But, getting back to the point, I think the UT Sharkies are at a good size since they look nice with IT's Quintessons. Looks like they MIGHT be able to chomp down on Legends Wheelie. Also, Classics BB is a bulky bot, Classics Rodimus, a more logical display choice, is leaner and of a size, so he'd probably look great next to Sharky. I don't have any of them on hand right now, but I think Kup, Rodimus, Sharky, and IT's Quints might all be correct next to each other.

Edit: Tsutsukakushi beat me to it!

Yikes. Not liking the look of those QC issues. They're rather egregious.

One thought occurs to me. If Sharkticons are thrown together bots, not as refined as the "transformers" the quints previously created, then this would actually fit the idea well.

On the other hand, maybe I'm just justifying crap work...

The Carol Burnett show? It's Tim Conway, Dorf on Golf. Hilarious. I'm not sure if it is PC in today's variety show...

Finally go these guys in the mail! Overall, I like them. They are small, but they scale well with Classics deluxes (I looked up the Sharkticon pit clip on Youtube and Sharkticons are smaller than Hot Rod in vehicle mode and so the overall size is fine with me. I actually have one perched on Kup like in the movie! (and he can hold their tail maces thanks to the open hand the toy has).

But I feel like I should have waited for a deal. The plastic *is* thin and those antennae come out way too easily. As do the shoulder pads. I don't think it'll break, but there you have it. Still, I wanted Sharkticons and I'm glad I got 'em. I'll probably still get iGear's version as well, since I want to bulk up my army.

Mine had some alignment issues, but I was able to force the leg into it's correct position by hand. The screws are really tight, but it isn't glued together or anything.

I'm ordered through bbts. I wouldn't suspect they'll be getting theirs anytime this year. Or at the very least, by Christmas. I'm not gonna hold my breath anyways. That's for sure.

I don't know. BBTS surprised the heck out of me when they alerted me that Smart Robin was in stock the day after RK shipped. (I think that was the time frame. Very quick at any rate.)

Sooo surprisingly, mine have arrived already. The alignment issues still seem to be present but I don't find them distracting. Plastic quality seems pretty decent, however the 'antennae' fall out all the time, especially those on the side of the head where the screw is. Overall, I really like 'em and they are a lot of fun. I have added a few pics below.

assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

I put in order yesterday for the Sharkies, plus the KFC Magnificus since it's on sale ($9 off!). I know they're backed up, but hopefully I'll get the shipping confirmation today or tomorrow.

If I like Magnificus, I'll probably go ahead and get Surgeon down the line (but since it's so niche and weird, I think I'll wait for that thing to go on sale... you know it will).

If I like the Sharkies, I'll probably grab a second set, so I can have an additional '86 Movie army to compliment my Sweeps & Junkions.
