I recently started thinking I'd like some good Sharkticons and Quintessons in my Classics collection, so hopefully iGear will get their **** together after that mini-bot fiasco, and do theirs right.

I like both alt modes equally, they are both sharkticons to me, just don't like everything else about UT's version.megatronus wrote:Arctorro wrote:Soooo... tiny shell-formers made with cheap plastic...

I personally am not bothered by the shell-former aspect. I'm more bothered by how loose the joints are on these advanced samples. Hopefully they'll be tightened up slightly.
Haven't pulled the trigger yet, though. I'm interested to see a final version of iGear's offering.
But I'm conflicted - I like iGear's robot mode better, but I like UT's alt mode better. Sigh.

Is G20 Sensuimaru Suspose to have a Shark or whale alt mode? i'm leaning more towards the whale mode. As the alt mode is kinda fat & does have a few blow holes on top of the alt mode.

I highly doubt we'll see those in the Generations line.

I agree. The fact that they're combiners means there isn't an easy way to repurpose them into characters American audiences would be more familiar with.

Unless you are part of said Hasbro team, and can speak from experience, I would walk this one back a bit. Classics Devastator notwithstanding...

It was a wrong mistake to have The Beast Hunters Terrorcons all be Legion size.
FOC Onslaught needed to be Voyager scale.
The Target Universe Rid & Classics devastator toys were all wrong as far as names, vehicles & missing team members went.
Movie Superion & Bruticus had too many repaints on each team. some had wrong names or vehicle modes.
Those Kreon gestalts were barely commander size.
Taking away the combiner modes for all the new sculpted or repainted combiner team members in various recent Transformers toy lines.

All your opinions (and very valid I might add) from a fan perspective. While a small consideration, Hasbro's motivation goes far beyond maintaining story continuity and fan opinions. They make money. If their decisions make them money, then to say that they made a bad decision is not valid, even if it conflicts with fan opinion.
If Hasbro decides that the Go! line will sell, we'll get them. However, I'm with Mkall here; Hasbro's past actions do not seem to indicate that we'll see these in a domestic release. Given the ties to the Transformers Anniversary, I think we'll see more recognizable molds. I could be wrong (it wouldn't be the first time.) I just think the reasoning here is flawed. (Not the opinion, just the reasoning.)

Tsutsukakushi wrote:I didn't realize till todays pics that these were almost deluxe scale. $30 for each deluxe is a steal of a price. it's more than half the price of FP's prices for the Headmasters toys. I like the different faces with different colors. it makes these better than the any troop builders TFCC has done.
