he was 4.97, which is a damn good price in this day and age.
it was between him and flak and whilst i figured flak was better i also figured that completing the cybeververse wreckers was a must.
dreads are now the new top priority
shame the chainsaw is on a ball joint thus cannot be held by others..meh, oh well, whatever, it's cool.

"damn good price"? sonny, I can remember when legends were £3.
£4.97 is only 3p off the RRP... That's a negligible saving.
I begrudge spending a week's worth of pocket money on one smallest scale figure. But I don't get pocket money anymore so I spend what should be for my rent online...

i can remember back to 3.99 and the occasional lower.

but no, the point is most places i've seen now have them @5 or even 6.99
it's good to find them at the right price, is what i meant to say.
(yes, i know entertainer has them in for exactly 5)

I don't really care how much cyberverse/legends stuff is because i don't buy it, but what i do care about is the fact that dotm voyagers are £10 more expensive than deluxes, and they are only an inch or two taller (plus a big-ish mtgun but that should be compulsory).
Also no spoils from Bracknell because Tesco only had bumblebees. seriously, they had every dotm version, including cyberfire, who's new i believe

Well said that man!

Hello UK people!! Signed up last week so still new I guess. And Im not really one for posting on forums, but I decided Im going to make an effort. And so yeah, im rallying up :)!

As for sightings, I see transformers everyday (in my room =D). But I will contribute by my sighting of a boxed commemorative reissue of Optimus Prime I saw, (and bought), at an antique fair!! Of all places!!! I think its an untaped re-source! Also, I have managed to pick a few up from Auction in the past, in boxes of random cars. Pretty rare, but it can be done! Check everywhere :)!

Also, as I posted in a thread last week, I saw they had those bagged transformer sweets with mini-cons out again at a Tesco near me, just incase people hadnt seen that, or even care. See im making an effort, yay!

And lastly a question. With DOTM, what character figures would people recommend in getting? Just a thought.

THANKS!

get thundercracker, roadbuster, topspin, ratchet, crankcase, shockwave, megatron and bumblebee.
All surprisingly nice, but none of dotm is especially excellent. Apart from space case...

I ordered a gold bumblebee off amazon to complete my rts legends and I sent him home, not here. D'oh! I must look at the address amazon sends things to in future...

Oki doke, I shall have a look at those ones. I pretty much havent looked at any of the DOTM stuff as I wasnt really sure I liked the look of it. And some of them are so complex to transform :). And the weird thing is, as much as I LOVE transformers, I still havent seen it (dont hurt me =D). I should really get round to that. To be honest I probably should be trying to complete my set of G1. My collection is all over the place. Im trying to collect a set of transformers VHS at the mo to.
As for the RTS, I quite like a couple of the small ones. The megatron one is awesome, I bought a few I found reduced in Tesco. Tesco can be good for some things :)!
LOL! Yeah Ive done that before. Some of my online accounts still havent my default address as the first house I lived at uni in, from 6/7 years ago!! I must change them, as must you! I wouldnt want some randoms getting my transformers haha. At least it went to your home.

(sorry for any spelling mistakes, I couldnt be bothered to check it!)

Welcome aboard Trevor! I'd recommend the Cyberverse commanders. At least I would have if the house brownies hadn't magicked half of mine away. Actually, it was more than likely the Virgin tivo guy. Another mission foiled then. As for the Minicon sweetie packs, aren't they neat? I thought I was getting a bargain when I bought the box set but who can resist what's essentially a TF Kinder Egg? Not me, one more to go (which I'll never find) and a few doubles to regret...

Well, good for you trevor, the DOTM figures are the least complex of all movie figures, they've been made more rough and tumble for kids to really play with.

...and not sit there for five minutes transforming something and having bits pop off...

Has anyone noticed that with this weeks issue of the "Doctor Who Adventures" (issue #240), you get a free Optimus Prime Kreon figure?

It's the same Matrix-chested one they were giving out at Botcon and comes in a little branded baggie. The "magazine" was only £3, the wife just brought it back from Tesco...

Are you serious?? Im going out to find one tonight!!! Or 2! :). Have to have a trip to tesco anyway to get change for the bootsale tomorrow. I hope they have some! Woo. You have a pretty awesome wife tbh!!!

Mr. O - yeah they are pretty much a transformer kinder egg, and I do love myself a good kinder egg!!
And what do you mean half were magicked away? AS in someone thiefed them from you?! (How is the Ti-Vo btw, im thinking of getting it??).If that was the case, we gotta hunt them down! =(.

Ill definately look into the DOTM figures then if theyre a bit less complex. Not that its a problem, but the first movie optimus I got I couldnt work out at all, lol. Some bits just would not go where they were supposed to, and im normally pretty good. Other thing is, they are hell expensive :(.

Righto, time for tea!

ha, movie 1 optimus is simple compared to some I've had since...
I can remember on christmas day when i got him though, just sitting there for ages getting it to transform properly, I gave up after a while...

Yeah Ive had quite a few Ive had trouble transforming without instructions. I have gave up on mine to, got him in truck form and thats how hes stayed since. Im not sure which actual movie optimus it is though. If I have had trouble, I cant imagine what hassle some kids had, and no wonder alot are broken/missing pieces. Im glad they realised they were too complex and have made them easier for DOTM =D.
Off to find this magazine now, fingers crossed, I want a Kreon Optimius :).

Typical bloody Hasbro UK, they put a convention exclusive out over here, don't publicise it and don't even put it out with the official UK publication. I really shouldn't be surprised any more :BANG_HEAD:

I know! Wtf is it doing in a Dr Who magazine! Just looked on the Dr Who website, and it doesnt even mention it comes in the magazine, only the mask and fingers, lol. And I would never have looked if it wasnt for you, and your wife (who will be like the woman I will marry one day =D), so yeah you helped alot! Ive wanted one of these since I saw them, now I have 2. I may even be tempted to go and buy more to give to people as presents or use in my lego creations. So these were a convention 'exclusive'? And now theyre being given out pretty much free. Weird, so weird. What are they doing. I wonder how many actual Transformer fans/collectors have noticed. What else have I missed by not looking at the Dr Who magazine!!!! Maybe they are hoping to get more business out of young fans of Dr Who, who will want to now collect Kre-o, if could have been a clever ploy. Going to check all the magazines in future, just in case. Anyway, very, very happy thankyou!

Anything that involves Hasbro UK is odd, this didn't used to be called " The official disgruntled Brits thread" for nothing!

Why thanking you! I a bit of a nut myself so thats great! Dont get me started on the songs, I could sing you all of them off the top of my head if voice could be transfered over forum format. However, I think it would probably kill everyone! I AM magical trevor, no fake-sies! Just actually took a look at the mag, I mean I did buy it, and there is a full advert for the new transformers Kre-o stuff on the back page, so I guess it is just 'heres the first figure, go buy more'! Still, bonus for us! - thanks againPretender Skywarp! I havent seen the Dr Who stuff, I will look it up. Dont see what was wrong with making a deal with the actual LEGO company to make them, but hey, im not Hasbro. Love my lego to :). If anyone has any unwanted, send it this way to be honest.
