Hi all!

I was in my two local Argos' today and picked up the two Protoform figures. It was strange as one store only seemed to have Optimus and the other only had Starscream. Because I bought them seperately I couldn't take advantage of the buy one get one half price deal. :-x

I did get a Titanium Ultra Magnus for £7.47 though! :grin:

No sign of any voyager sizes in stock.

I dont have any Tits so I don't know the quality of them. Is G1 Magnus worth getting? I'm really tempted to get this one due to his poseability and the fact it's G1 magnus, and not a white prime, but it's at the price of £22.99. A little steep, I know, but is it worth it? Opinions? :???:

Hey, would you be willing to see if you get one of these in the sale to send me? It would still be cheaper with postage for me than buying online and my Argos seems to be rubbish with stocking.

Went to Argos in Reading today to pick up a couple of the movie figs. But the cashier said that they weren't available until June!
I know it says they aren't available until June 2nd in the book, but how come others have managed to pick them up?

Also, Blackwells in Reading has Titanium Magnus and Megatron.
They have about 6 Magnus and a couple of Megatron, although they are priced at a whopping £24.99!!!!

apparently, you can sue argos in reading for false advertising. They've broken street date and put them on sale

strangely enough the movie figs have disappeared from the argos website, theyll probably reappear on the 2nd

Yeah, they've all gone, except for the cyber stompers. And they've got cybertron Prime for £17.49. So, I will be going down to Argos to pick that up tomorrow, unless anyone thinks its not worth it?

Yeah, that's Argos for ya. They probably do have him in stock, but don't want to sell him for cheap. Screw em, go to TRU and get him for £30. He is truly worth it.

I have come into enough money for another tf. And since I am up to date on the Classics, and have no desire to purchase movie figures, I shall be off on a Titanium hunt!
Tit UM will be mine by the end of the month!

Also, any sitings of the last few classic figures? Grimlock, Mirage, CliffJumper and co?

Classics only at Forbidden Planet and similar import stores AFAIK, and given that the big names are (or soon will be) selling Movie figures, looks like we miss out.

I know, but that's down to me rather than the seller. My bloody car seat belt lock failed (thus an mot fail) and cost me nearly £250 to fix. There goes my disposable (read Transformer) budget.

GOD F**KING DAMNIT!

They had to postpone the interview. They phoned once, yesterday, when no one was in.

So I turn up, all dressed up in my new suit (which i dont like one bit), all cleanly shaven, my 'musketeer' tash and thing combo a sad memory gone (which i dont like one bit) and sit there, and wait. Then 3 mins before my interview was suposed to happen, a VERY confused lass out of personelle goes 'what are you doing here?'....

Grrr.

I dont know why im surprised, I've known Morrisons are disorginised for years...

So Im gonna head of to town and damnwell see if I cant find some plastic crack to cheer myself up with.

Sorry to hear that fella - plastic crack will console you.

As you might know I'm off to the Emerald Isle in a couple of weeks - so I might have a plastic crack splurg before I leave, probably on Classics. Any figures to get or avoid?

So far I reckon definite 'gets' are Jetfire, Starscream, the UM/Skywarp set, Bumblbee and Optimus. Figures to avoid are the Megatron/Optimus set, Hotrod and Astrotrain?

Then again, maybe Brave Exkaiser will be the greatest thing ever and keep me hooked for days!
