They are.
He's still in the box ATM as I'm at work. Looks a little plasticky, but no worse than Swindle.
Will post more later after he's been freed from his plastic and paper prison.

HMV are having a final 70% off everything sale as they circle the plug hole. It's mainly because of internet access to music. Virgin records have already kicked the bucket apparently.
Luckily I don't look in the movie forum. I find that forum pretty pointless. I've got a question though. Will the movie forum dissapear once all this movie hype goes away?
As for you Red, I am at a loss for a witty comment.
The best I can suggest is use one controller in each hand.

That's why I have avoided the movie forum since things were starting to get confirmed oh so many months ago. Of course, people still make stupid comments outside there, so I have learned things I didn't want to know.

I thought that was the point of scalectrix? That's probably why one of mine exploded...
hmmm, I guess the Movie forum will *transform* from Movie appreciation to movie 2 speculation within a matter of months. Back to square one!

I've just got back from the shops. I was looking for Classics 2-pack Ultra Magnus & Skywarp because im planning to do a G1 Ultra Magnus kitbash/repaint. I had to go to 3 Woolworths, 2 Argos, 1 Entertainer and 1 Toys'r'us before i finally found one in Woolworths in Watford. Very happy bunny.
Got home, opened it and have just found that one of parts on the left arm is a right arm part! Wont say in robot mode and can't be fixed! I'm so pissed off. Has anyone else had this problem? Gotta go all the way back now!

I've been having a little think and given that there's no Auto Assembly this year it occured to me that the opening for the movie may be the best excuse we have this summer for some forum meet ups. Obviously trying to get anything national aranged would be impractical but would anybody be interested in getting together for some regional meets on opening night? The way I see things it's a good excuse to get together with some like minded folks, do a bit of toy shopping, grab a couple of beers and have some immediate feedback/discussion on the movie when we've actually seen the damned thing. Any takers?
Im up for that if i can make it. Sounds good.

Can anyone tell me where i can find an iron hide - ive been looking in the northeast but im willing to travel a little further afield if nessicairy, hell would be a fun random day out anyway.

I dunno about northeast but it seems now that nearly TF movie figures including Ironhide. Try somewhere you least expect like Sainsburys. Oh and Argos are dumb...they have all the TF movie stuff in stock but not in the catalogue so you need to go ask a member of staff if they can show you.

just incase this gets out of hand with number of posts on the topic I should point out that the last thing I want to do is hijack the thread, but figured that this would be where most Brits were likely to see the suggestion. Does anyone think it would be worth starting a seperate thread to discuss possable movie meets if this starts to get too much traffic?
