Yey! We've finally got some new Real Gears!
Went to my local Asda (mainly to look for a potential replacement MP3 Player) and instead of the not very random asortment of Voyagers, older Real Gears and Optimash Prime, the now had the 3inch tit Galvatron and Primes, some Deluxes, a bucket load of the first wave of Legends and Booster x10 (lasorbeak wannabe) and Zoom Out 25x (video camera).
Both are very nice, but suffer from loser joints than the earlier RGs.
I also had a kid come through my till at work brandishing '08 Bumbles. I have to admit to being a little jelous.

Arrgh Lads I bring good news from the KO thread
http://www.seibertron.com/forums/viewto ... t=630&sid=
Wes Crayon has posted that he's prepared to enter a trade agreement with us and go Big Lots KO hunting for us as I was after a Oversize WST Prowl - Quoted him here but it's probably worth trawling through the last few pages of the KO thread to pick up on the run down.

I don't get out to BL much, but there's a ready supply of the Quick Change multipacks at another store nearby. Mostly the wannabe Insecticons, Defensor, and Superion knockoffs, though I might have seen some of the fake Dinobots as well. Lots of Robot Masters 2-pack knockoffs also.

As Supercollider is probably already aware I'm up for going in on this. The way I see things is that if we're looking at a single shipment from the US we'll save on the most expensive part of the shipping and can redistribute amongst ourselves from a hub point with one of us using domestic parcel post. I got hold of my Energon SWAT Team the other year doing something similar with a case quantity courtesy of Emperor Galvatron and Powermaster Skywarp.
If we hold off for a little while Wes has said that he should be heading back to his local Big Lots next month and that may well open up a bigger selection. Have a read through the last 10 or 15 pages of the KO thread to see what's been showing up Stateside for the last month or so. A lot of these items don't seem to be turning up on ebay as far as I've been able to tell, so this may make for some interseting opportunities.
If we can collectively put together a shopping list then I'd be prepared to cover the initial outlay on the toys and international shipping and then sort out getting stuff to people over here on a not for profit basis. I might even be able to meet up with SC in Leeds or anyone Teeside based to do a hand off and save some costs at this end.
Bear in mind that we may not be able to get hold of everything that's been out on the US market all in one go, but if we manage to pull this off once then there's always the possability of setting up something semi regular. ODB power, making it work for us, yes?

Its strange, but there are enoguht shops with a crap collection of different tfs that there is actully a surprisingly good viriaty of tfs in my small town right now.
Sadly, whilst the engineering on '08 Bumbles is excelent, I'm gonna have to return him, the litle yellow shoulder things keep falling off (I almost lost one already) and there's a lot of paint issues, including one of the 'boobies' not evne having it's grill painted black (which is VERY bloody obvious in both modes).
I Just cannot settle for a tf who isnt perfect and cant have the imperfection/s hidden.

I'd be up for some G1 combiner KOs too, and some Robotmaster pairs if they include the cyberjet-based moulds. I'll have to check the finances mind, and it all depends on what sort of money postage is going to add, but £10-15 with shipping from the US seems pretty doable.

Blackgaine's has a restock - including Kabaya Laserbeak.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=002
waaaaghlord, if you're happy to do the sorting out for Wes Crayon's Big Lots raid then that would be great.
Sadly I've overspent my overspend budget and then saw the Kabaya Laserbeak so all thought of a big KO raid for me including stuff I "just like the look of" is gone.
Fortunately I only really desperatly want a few items:
Oversive WST Prowl
Devastator (micromaster or original size for preferance)
Hopefully I'll have my car back and mini-collider should have been born by the time this gets sorted so I could indeed help/meet up/whatever you need really.
I do find it funny that the ODB Pyrates are taking shipping!
