Also, to get this thread slightly back on topic, had a look at the toy section of the Asda I work at. No Real Gears, but 4 each of Bonecrusher and Swindle. We also have the best halloween stuff (Especially the Fraidy Cat with spinning head), though as a pirate I can not approve of the child's ninja costume we sell - but rest assured, Pirate gear aplenty was to be found.

I just picked mine up after passing on it in the past but im glad i picked him up now, hes awesome.

Thought i would inform my fellow Brits that on amazon.co.uk there is a seller called 'Mad Harry's' selling Hound and Dead End Alternators for £19.99 each. They did have Sideswipe but i bought the only one they had...arrived the day after too, i have no idea how many Hounds are left though.

Anyways, I have no dubloons, but I reeeally want Classics Hotrod (er, Rodimus ) So, anyone think he's worth a week of lunchs?

Hopefully he'll get some more Sideswipe in at some point. Then I can cross him off of my wants list.
I plan to get Alt Prime at some point too. I may wait to the January sales to get him though- I'm not made of money after all.

That seems to be all that the shops have now; Bonecrusher and Swindle. I've redecided that I will not get any drones, cos I'm not made of money. I'll just get Dropkick and Longarm to go with my mainline movie figures.

I stumbled across Hound and Sideswipe by accident after clicking on the Dead End Alternator listing and then the Mad Harry's store link, needless to say i was rather surprised to see those two particular Alternators for 20 bucks.

I got myself a Hound and Sideswipe to go with the test shot/prototype Hound i received in a lot last month. The fact that these Alternators were recent arrivals to Mad Harry's could mean they may get them in stock again, you never know.

Do a search for 'Dodge Viper'....a load of Dodge viper models will show up but Dead End should be amongst the item list. Mad Harry's also had Silverstreak when i stumbled upon Hound and Sideswipe but he's gone from their listings now.

That's what I'm trying to do. But just the bots- mainly cos of how pricey they are now- and only if they are main G1 characters.

Well i am currently only 6 away from completing the collection. Rollbar, Ricochet, Rumble, Nemesis Prime, Swerve and Decepticharge are the only Alternators missing.

As far as also collecting them all MISB as well? Not really my style, however, i do intend to get a few of them MISB currently have Meister, Rodimus, Sideswipe and Hound MISB. I don't think i am going to bother with many more after that, probably Mirage and Wheeljack.

I also intend to put 9 Alternators up for sale soon, once i get the shipping sorted and acquire suitable boxes for them, trying to get the money together for a Car Robots God Fire Convoy set

Nah, MISB was never my style either.
I prefer playing with em and displaying em proudly.



I think I'm 6 away from completion atm too.
I just need to get hold of Sideswipe, Optimus Prime, Prowl, Jazz, Smokescreen, Mirage and Skids to finish off.


I'm so glad they released alternators. They are damn fine figures.


I guess the only hard part will be getting Mirage. He's so damn rare and expensive thanks to Hasblos poor ability to distribute to different sellers.

I've just got a couple of boxes of TFs out from storage at my brother's since I now have shelf space at my grandmother's (where I'm staying whilst between houses) after managing to reclaim some of my furniture when I had to move it out of storage at the auction mart that I used to do some removals for and into storage at my mate Geoff's farm. Did anyone manage to follow that whole sentence BTW?

Upshot of this is that I've now got all my Classics in one place, my BTs, my PVCs, most of my Armada Prime collection and assorted other pieces of niceness with me. I may be a couple of days unpacking everything and arranging my shelves.

There's still another couple of boxes too, so I may be able to get some more bits and pieces out if shelf space allows.

Only downside is that I can't get pictures sorted for a couple of weeks to start a collection thread and share the wealth with the community at large because my brother has the digicam with him in Spain while he's on his hols.
