We picked up the robot heroes 'con sneak attack' from Asda for £7, and I gots Longarm for crimbo.

Apparently Asda is beginning the transition to becoming Walmart. While they won't sell guns or boats, maybe this means we'll see MP Anime SS at retail after all?

Aargh! When did ye pick that up? Is it still around, if so, I know where I'll be going on Saturday Aargh!

On Tuesday I thinks...

Not TF related, but my Sigma 6 Snake-Eyes arrived, its very cool, plus it was a small lot, so i got another figure (the Native American), both cost be £15, which is what you would pay for one over here (if you can find it)

Its the first wave Snake-Eyes, so it doesnt come with any stupid jungle/ninja armor or stupid helicopter backpacks...has some nice details, the Uzi and swords...not sure whether to try and get a Ninja Hovercylce to go with him

Ive always loved Snake-Eyes ever since i was a wee nipper (still have my original, with wolf) and when my 25th Anni version arrives it will go well with the 6 or 7 others ive bought over the last 20 years or so...

The bank called me in for a review. Now with me being close to £1K overdrawn and not working at the moment I was expecting a bit of a bollocking, but as it turns out they're actually quite happy with me. So much so that rather than just taking off the extra £500 overdraft last month like they said they were going to do they've left it in place but made it so that only the first £1K is interest free, the remainder only charge free. It's fair to say that I'm shocked and happy. At least I was sensible enough to turn down a loan when that was mentioned, although I will admit to the thought of a lovely minty boxed Black Zarak crossing my mind at that moment.

I'm after a S6 Snake Eyes,
Can't find one for a decent price tho :(
Have the 25th fig, he's still carded. Was gonna open him but the packing was too nice to destroy so have another one on the way :) Best Snake Eyes I have is from the 12" line, He came w/ Storm Shadow. After a body-swap and adding some BBi weapons he can't be beaten :)

If you are THAT overdrawn and not earning any money, the LAST thing you should be concidering is expensive rare Japanese TFs....

You seem a canny guy but I think you need to bash some sence into yourself right now.

My mum went to Asda and went to the Transformers, she then phoned me and said they had Final Battle Jazz, Longarm, Rescue Ratchet and Thundercracker. I told her to get Longarm and all I can say is that it is pretty darn sweet :D

Oh the joy of uncorntrolled laughing fits in the middle of lectures. Impossible to keep quiet and biting your tongue doesn't even work. And it wasn't even that funny.

Also, off through Durham tonight, to celebrate three of us turning 21 this weekend (myself included). Oh, the sheer carnage we will unleash. 8)

So if anyone sees a guy in a leather jacket and glasses, making a complete prat of himself in the city tonight, say hi.

Oh, suppose I should mention tf's somewhere. Urm... :-? if Longarm is getting spotted, I may pick him up. Any spotted in Woolies?

Guys, I've been treating -£1500 as my baseline ever since my student days. I'm technically better off now than I have been for years. It's all a paper fantasy anyway. Once the student loan people catch up with me and I've got a nice bankruptcy claim filed then the fun will really begin...

Seriously though, money really isn't the be all and end all. You can't breath it, eat it or drink it. It won't shelter you from the cold. Unless you're talking notes you can't even burn it, and even then banknotes won't keep a fire going very long. As I said above, a paper fantasy, no real value just made up numbers. This is worth that many tokens and that is worth this many. It's just a shame that so many people buy into it so seriously and miss all of the zen goodness floating around.

Weapon: Air Rifle
Insurgent- Just this very morn, I found Longarm in Woolies.

I also found the scouts, but no armorhide

I might get Skyblast though. I love his Energon variant, and the colours look damn fine on this one...

Still holding on to the hope that we get G1-repaint Jazz over here....

That's a very optimistic view Waaaaghlord. It's good that there are still people that are able to look on the bright side of things. I hate money too- it ruins life for all of us.

On a different but rather excellent note, it was freebie friday at Sainsbury's. We got 5 free chocolate bars each, some cookies and icecream, apples and cheese, and a small cup of baileys each!

'twas a most excellent day 8)

No prob MB :D, I've ordered one as well (imo Jazz looks even cooler in his G1 colours, as does Rescue Ratchet)

One word of warning though, if you can help it don't pay for anything on the site with paypal, i tried that, and for some reason they thought i hadn't paid them, even though the money was taken out of my account (i think paypal payments go out fairly quickly) so they took my word that i'd paid, and agreed to honour the order. The problem was, if they had sent the stuff when i had ordered it, i would have got everything i wanted, but because of the mistake, blackout and barricade had sold out, plus in the end my cousin managed to get 08' BB, and Megatron for me (i'd already managed to get the other main cast toys, and luckily Arcee while on holiday)

Anyway, i've since managed to order Barricade from play.com, and Blackout from forbidden planet (if i had thought it out properly, i could have looked for barricade on FP as well, but i've been stressed out most of the night due to a total twat of a customer from earlier today, so :P)

The only thing that i have received from Toyzandgamez so far has been Alternator Rodimus/Hot Rod, which IIRC i ordered monday or tuesday, and he was here yesterday, which was a bonus :D , of course they may have rushed him out to me to keep my happy, but i'd like to think they send most stuff out fairly quickly. The bonus was, Rodimus wasn't delivered by Royal Mail/Parcel Force, the company is called Fastway (which is appropriate for a fast car alt mode TF like Rodimus :P ) , so if for some daft reason Royal Mail do strike again, our TF deliveries from TAG won't get lost in the backlog :D

Right, major rant/disgruntleness (can't be arsed to spell check :P) over

Well, almost :P

I'll wait until sunday (when i don't have to work thank Primus until we open on sundays on the 4th of November) and then release the hot headed punk from his plastic prison. Plus let Longarm (the tow truck movie tf) and highscore 100 out of their boxes.

Right, all done, promise.....:P

Happy 21st for tuesday mate, only 4 years younger then me :P (i was 25 on the 2nd of this month, and ye, '86 ruled!, must be an honour to be the same age as the animated movie)

They're pretty good for stuff you can't find in the shops - If you have any problems give them a ring as they've always been very helpful over the phone.

p.s. - you load of young whipersnappers - with your loud music and your hoodies, what do you think you're doing hanging around here huh? I remember when it was all fields.

Looks like i got lucky with my S6 SE, now that im working ill get another 25th to keep MOSC...

If that 12" fig is the 2 pack that came in green packaging, then i have it too, and yes, a BBi Uzi comes in very handy, atm they are in a bag with all my other BBi/Dragon figs

Oh and on the TF front, my local Wilkos have Grimmys and Astrotrains in stock, and Woolies had TC and Rescue Ratchet and the Proto OPs/Jazz/Brawl 3 pack...

Depends on what you're buying. When they had them, the alternators were pretty cheap- shame stock ran dry.

I must be the youngest on here then! Well, apart from Frimal :P

Grimlock huh? My bro's in Kidderminster today. Maybe he'll find one when he goes into Wilkonson's... :-?

My main dislike of cl Grimlock is the way his robot mode doesn't convay that sense of raw power his G1 counterpart did. It isn't Grimlock if he doesn't look like he can tear you up ten ways to Sunday with his bare arms, which the cl one doesn't. Still, I'm sure he's a good figure, he is in the classics line afterall.
