Hey guys wheres the best place to buy G1 Re-issues in this country fro a good price? TRU doesnt have much choice and no other shop seems to stock anything but movie toys. Are there any good UK sites that arent totally ripping people off? Also, if i bought a G1 Megatron from a seller in Hong Kong, will dumbass UK customs sieze it?

Neonmartian has encore Megs in stock for £35. UK based so no worries with customs.
They have a few other re-issues aswell.

Wow...they sound almost too good to be true....and they are UK based? What are they like with shipping costs? And are they reliable?

For anyone interesting, it appears that Manchester's TRU has cut the price on the Desert Attack and Towed to Safety boxed sets down to £29.99 and £14.99 respectively (Unless I misread the price tag for the second one).

Edit: Went to Oldham this morning. Woolworths had the Wave 3 scouts (Armorhide, Air Raid and Elita-1) alongside the Wave 2 figures.

Reno and Rude are up first. I don't know if they'll do Tseng and Elena though, I hope they do.

I like BBTS,got my re-issue sideswipe from them, they seem to sharge alot for international shipping tho.

20th Primes are nearly all gone from Reading TRU, just two left after I picked one up for my son's Xmas at lunchtime. The £30 price tag for such a heavy toy is obviously hitting the right spot with people.

Leeds TRU still seem to have several but considering their "layout" for the TF's I'm not surprised, they're shuffled off to the dusty end of the shelves.

Sadly Nov 9th will mark the time when I no longer have easy (in my lunchbreak) access to TRU...

Hmm - may have to pop down to the woolworths in York tomorrow. They may actually have some of them - it'll be nice to be able to buy something there. They have had virtually no transformers in (the exceptions being real gear and scouts).

On a side note - I'm gonna inject some piratey goodness into this thread cos it seems to be lacking recently.

I just ordered the G1 MP Starscream off of ebay. It was £24 with £34 shipping. I know the shipping is a lot but it is coming from hong kong and all together its a lot less then paying an american scalper for one. £58 for an MP screamer is a bargain IMO.
Im so happy now, i cant wait for the next 2 weeks to fly by! (as thats the estimated delivery time)

Anyone else ordered theirs? I also sold my custom movie starscream on ebay for £70, some dude from america bought it so he has forked out nearly $150!!

Thats a nice tidy profit and a well-needed ego boost! :) (mind you most of the profit needs to go towards the missus and her birthday, thats the deal i had with her in order to get her to let me order MP Screamer lol )

Well, it had a good run anyways. I'm too lazy to keep it up anyhow, so general orders of back to normal snooty brit posting for all! :P

And if it means more of the old guard post here more often, all the better!

I can't believe Spoon got IP banned! I was shocked! He is a defining member of Seibertron.com!!!!

It saddens me that there will be no more animated boobs around

£58 is a bargain for MP SS indeed Sonray! Considering he will more than likely cost £50 at retail (if he reaches it), paying £8 for p&p is excellent! Good find matey!

(I'm still gonna say matey. It's part of my normal speech now anyways. Along with gfunnpar :P)

Congrats on your sale too Sonray.

Plus, alt mirage should be with me before the end of next week. I cannot friggin wait!
