Furman's a great laugh. Take some comics to get signed. He usually has a box of his Armada/Energon/IDW stuff with him for sale as well. Next Auto Assembley I'm planning on actually staying in Brum rather than travelling back north the same day and tagging along for the Chinese and beers that he ussually comes out for after the con with the organisers and some of the AA regulars. Real shame that I didn't stay down last year, David Kaye was out on that one as well!

I plan to spend the weekend learning how to play the November Rain's first solo.

No faction symbol as yet since I don't have any small enough. The reds are clear red over a silver base, I went with that to match up to the metalic blues on the Super Metal Finish Prime. Quite pleased with how that turned out. I'm in two minds as to whether to leave the silvers as they are or go over them with a brighter shade. The one that I've gone with quite suits the figure but it's a darker tone than any of the other silvers used in the RH line.

Nice! I've got that one down, it's the damn outro solo that's made me give up on the axe. Picked up Elita-one and will be tearing the packaging apart imminently, after another hot toddy

Not bad for six months practise. I want to get it all down before my mate- a lead guitarist- does, because then he'll be annoyed.
That looks great Waaaaghlord! You've got quite a bit of skill with paints. It looks very clean- did you have to do any cleaning up after you'd painted it?
And did you pain the whole thing black first?

While i wa sin Tescos just now i spotted a wierd sight. It was a legends four pack, with movie prime, cybertron prime, movie megatron and cybertron megatron, it was only £6-something but i cant afford anything right now as i need to buy paint for a projects and buy materials to build a light box with. What confused me though was the fact that all the boxes had the american "Only at Target" sticker on them. WTF?

We play by nobody's rules but our own.
Hardly makes up for the fact that they nicked our stock of Alt Mirage though, does it?

also, went out at lunch time and found KO Cyb. Legends Leobreaker and Evac...they are pretty cool, more or less the same paint scheme as the originals, but a lil bigger, look great on top of my work monitor for only £1 each

Nowt new this end, still aint found All Fall Down. I'm gonna be starting work on my custom Wreckage though. That and the endless amount of work I should be doing should keep me occupied for a bit. Think I'll write a bit more on TF3 now though.

Thanks (and to everyone else too). Yep, the whole thing got two thin layers of black first. Since it's a non transforming piece I used Citadel rather than the harder wearing but more shiny Tamiya (except for the Tamiya Clear Red). Colours used are Chaos Black, Boltgun Metal and a mix of 80/20 Scaly Green and ice Blue with the Taiya Clear Red over Boltgun Metal for the reds. Sealed with a spray of Citadel Purity Seal. I'm thinking I'll leave the silvers alone for the momment, as I said before they do suit the mould even if they're a little dark next to the rest of the line. I can always change my mind later. Also not sure if I should do the tyres in a dark grey since they're the same black as the rest of the figure. Hm

hehe
We know it must be done though, eh?
One of the things that stops me from going to these cons is the fear that I'll sell my parents house to buy more plastic crack
Again, ace work. It'd be boring if he used exactly the same colours, wouldn't it?
