People have the idea that their lives are more than just fleeting specks in the grand scheme of things, and expect so much from themselves and each other. I just want to be happy in my own way.

I claim I'm only in college to try an improve some art skillz. But really it's because my parents will disown me if I don't go to Uni. It has not made me happy so far, nor does it have any real job prospects.
Which is ok, because I would be most content with a very modest job and lifestyle as long as I was free to do what I want.
Dust in the wind and all that.

I must make it perfectly clear though, there will be no drunken naked wrestling at night.
I'll be down for the Saturday night to increase drinking opportunities, probably booking a twin for myself and Bob. Isn't it too early to rule out the drunken naked wrestling entirely? At the very least we should be expecting some variation of armchair sumo (greatest game I ever invented!) to spontaniously ensue. Plus the day after the con is a Naked Sunday (second cleverist thing I ever came up with, right after Promiscuous Wednesdays).

My parents never forced me to go to college or Uni, but i do wish id paid more attention at school, and possibly gone to college, hence why im doing an open Uni course now. But as long as i have enough money to do what i like, im happy. Im sick of having it rammed down the throats of kids that they HAVE to go to Uni, and how special they are. End of the day, Uni just seems to be where the lazy idle waste's of space go so that they dont have to get a job, and run up massive debts and avoid paying back by doing other and extra course's, and by the time they leave, they are 20+ with NO experience which ANY gaffer will tell you, is the most important thing. Balls to all these A*'s and crap.
Tekka, you should know you must hold the answer to ALL questions. Hmmmm i know there was something else i was gonna say, but i cant remember.
Waaaaghlord will you be joining us in AA Odb t shirts?? trying to get rough numbers together. I dont need to stay over anywhere, i can be back home from there within an hour

I had a feeling it was a bit of a rage induced post. I agree that there are some people who go to uni to avoid getting a job. I wasn't originally going myself, but realised that without a degree there will be a point where I can advance no further up a career path.
I still had my reservations on the first day - but now I am so glad I went, my year group is only small (less than 30) so I've been able to become friends with everyone. The only thing that annoys me is the huge amount of free time I have (I know I'm supposed to be working but unless I'm under pressure I don't work well). 5 hours of lectures a week makes my student flat almost pointless.

it makes me laugh pnly having 5 hours a week, you'd think they'd shorten the course or somethjing, but i suppose you need revision learning time too
i just got a new job (man i love temp agencies) £1 an hour extra too

My local Sainsburys is stocking wave 2 Movie Robot Heroes. I very nearly picked up the Prime vs Scorponok set but decided against it (for now).

Tell us more about these mealworms. They sound intriuging.
I've done nothing constructive. I slept, woke, got on the bus, yawned for three hours, ate, then played Halo 3 for the best part of 3 hours. Good first day back at college I thought
Alt Mirage retailed at £20 (Well, $20 as we never saw him here). You can expect to pay anywhere between £25 and £100 for him. I got mine for £25 from a great brit on here. Forums like tfw2005 and seibs are your best chance for a good deal.
Electron- that price is banging. His he mint condition? Box?
People at uni really are making a difference. This one guy I met, in his fourth year, is testing a method to cure cancer using a small golden plate. It's ingenious.
Nothing new round these parts AFAIK. Must get me some robot heroes.

I thought it was an urban myth, but petshop guy told me it had happened to their friend's bearded dragon, I was unsure. But then a few weeks later it happened to my mates baby savanna monitor. What a way to go...
So don't eat them whole ok?
I am drawing! I have a review tomorrow! And not enough work!

i ordered a Starwar Transformer clone pilot/arc 170 starfighter from Play.com, and they sent me a clone pilot/republic gunship,
so i went through their returns proceedure to get the right one sorted only to have the same thing happen, so i cancelled and asked for a refund!
ordered it from amazon and have been sent a saesee tin/jedi starfighter!
can no f***ing company in this god damn counrty get anything right!?

Yeh Everyone i know has fell up the stairs at least once, my main problem is miss judging a step and stumbling.
Wht u described as ur college day is basically my uni except i got 1 1/2 hr to travel bus and train, cant drive yet
Well the mirage im looking at is goin for £24 on ebay, so fingers crossed noone else wants him, but he's the soonest ending time and i think i'll be safer bidding on him as in regards to another mirage thats currently £7.99 but at such a low start price ano theres gonna be a build up in price if i wait.
