Well, my parents aren't ever going to be talked to by me again, they've siad I can't go to AA. The reason why:

Parents: "A Transformers convention! Why would you want to go to one of those?!!"

ME: "Because I like Transformers...

Parents: No you don't, its just a phase that you are going through."

ME: Oh, of course, just one of those life long phases that everyone gets...

Parents: Right! That's it! You've got no chance of going now!

ME: But you already said...

Parents: And don't talk back! No allowance for the next two months, and no more watching Scrubs either.

ME: (Various words I shouldn't say, followed by a slammed door)

So, perhaps not my best convo with my parents, but on the bright side I won an argument with my Cooking and Textiles teacher today, a whole lesson long argument :D So, at least something went right...

The correct reply at this point is "Fine I'll hang out with my 'normal' peer group instead - doing drugs and getting drunk - is that better?"

Go home tomorrow with two prostitutes, and introduce them as your bitches :P

It sucks to be small, huh?

It's great to be your own man *stretch* :SMUG:

If I wanted to, I could buy fireworks and blow my own arms off. Pretty cool huh?

Nothing new. All sorted for my summer exam-a-thon now.

On thursday I'm taking the brand spanking new SG into college, meeting up with the crew, and having a jamming session. Followed by going back to a mate's house, eating cookies and playing Halo online and more jamming for 2 1/2 days, and then going to see Velvet Revolver play live in the Wolvo civic hall.

I will give Slash a cookie if it's the last thing I do!

Hey folks,

It's been a while again but i keep turning up here!

Just thought I'd let you guys & gals know about the recent buys & finds and hopefully blag some help too!

latest buys - kinda been hampered with buying part for my poorly PC and fixing up my car though.

I guess I already told you about scoring KO Alt Prowl & Sixtrain (about £12.00 each inc shipping)

I finally found a good jet part to complete my Flywheels, must cost a whole £1.50 on Ebay,
Picked up Keychain G1 Bumblebee for an inflated rate but I never had Bee first time around...and it is MOC...
Scored a loose Classics Skywarp for £7.50 off ebay and that arrived today, sadly the previous owner swapped the wings around by pulling the pins so I've got some carefully repair work there as I've never had to remove & re-pin before. Otherwise it's in great condition...(makes you wonder why they swapped them.)
Found Energon Scorponok in a jumble sale for £4.50 but didn't immediately realise he was missing his feet and missiles, I don't mind about the missiles but I can't have him not being able to stand up so if anyone can help me find feet for him please PM me and let me know.

Anyone seen Movie Legends Ironhide in the old bricks & Mortar yet?

Good to see ya SC. Jeep's looking for ya you know?

I haven't seen legends IH as of yet, but I can't say I look too carefully for legends figures.

For Scorpy's feet, I recommend ebay, the parts bin thread here and on tfw2005, and that's pretty much it I think...

transformerland might have some parts, dunno...

Good buys all round! I can't believe how awesome alt prowl is!

(Although I could do with grabbing some clear nail varnish to tighten his elbow ball joints...)

(barstard)

No I don't, that's the problem! I've been meaning to get some, but I'd rather not risk the funny looks. So I'll get me sis to buy some instead :P

In some ways, MISB collectors are great. They buy things, keep it MISB, can't afford to keep it, and sell it on.

But I think this guy may be a spectator.

You do know about transformerland.com right? That's the most G1 vintage (and otherwise) stuff I've seen in one place that.

I'm not sure... It might be.

Since most of the stuff would probably be bubble-wrapped and put in a little box, I don't think the shipping would be very high.

I've paid £12 at the most for shipping from the US; and that was priority first class.

It all depends on the weight and if the company charges flat rate shipping regardless of weight, which is usually more. But if you order heavy items be prepared to pay more, and if you order light items shop around first for better shipping.

Last items I got from the US were Alt Prowl and Alt Meister; weighing in at about 2 or 3 pounds.

Shipping for them was about $25-$35 (about £10-£17.5)

It all depends on how much an item really. Often though- like Tek said- there's a better deal to be had. Shipping can be got pretty damn cheap if you do it right.

Most of my Ebay stuff from the states came in Ok on the shipping, $17.00 or about £9.00 to ship a large figure like E.Scorponok is about standard.

Heh, yeah Jeeps been in touch, we've still got to arrange an arena rematch since my 2nd best beat his best.... (that involves me being able to confirm online times though - it'll never happen!)

Am gonna check out transformerland soon. Cheers!

BTW, since animated Starscream's been confirmed as voyager and $20.00 this kind of auction suddenly seems well worth it.

Yeah but I'd spend about £16.00 (inc P&P) on a loose figure that's not out yet and will cost £20.00 new & in packaging when it finally arrives, definately not worth picking up the deluxe figures from there though.

Can't say I blame them. Other than Sainsburys, they are the only place I know of that are not yet selling the allspark deluxes. Does this mean we will shortly be seeing Incinerator and Evac over here?

Actually, I've just had a brainwave. Could this sale be timed to coincide with something else?

Correct me if I'm wrong (I know I'm not), but doesn't Animated start over here next week?

Does this mean the toys will be over here within a matter of weeks?

Eh, eh?
