Robot Heroes are cute addictive little buggers aren't they?

Yeah, that "Parcelfarce Clearance Fee" of £13.50 is a killer. I swear, charging £13.50 to ask you for money? How much do they think a piece of paper and an envelope costs? I'm so glad I was able to get work to pay for it, otherwise it would have been another £25 for me too.

Most parcels don't get pulled for customs, this one did because a Voyager and Deluxe make for a pretty big package. But most deluxe size packages get through with little to no trouble. I'm surprised your Dirge got pulled for customs, my Dirge and Thrust both got through customs unscathed.

I managed to nab him for £58 which I was really pleased about. £15 of postage charges didn't bother me cos it meant I was getting it within 10 days. However, VAT of £12.59 and handling fees of £13.50 really annoyed me. In fact it annoyed me so much I demanded to know what had happened to my package using the handling fee.

I'm hoping my BBTS package will escape though, but if it doesn't I think I'll only get the £8 handling fee as its not gonna be coming through express delivery

All my BBTS shipments over the last three months have had a customs charge. The worst case was a big shipment that came as two boxes. Parcel Force decided to charge me two frickin' handling charges. £50, I ask you. I was talking to the delivery guy about it and he reckons customs have really been cracking down on stuff coming in from the States this year due to the weak dollar causing more folks to buy stuff in. Makes sense I suppose.

Conversely I've never had a customs charge on anything from my Hong Kong suppliers.

Anyway, my Club mag arrived today. I'd risk my membership if I showed you guys pics but they generally surface not long after the Club 'exclusive' on them anyway. Dinobot looks a bit meh, not Cheetor bad but I can see BW fans being disappointed. Raptor mode looks spot on though. Hot Shot looks awesome, might just be the surprise must have next year. The Legends are, well, Legends. Cosmos and Rod look alright, nothing special. Wheelie's alt looks a bit like Ani 'Bee's and Warpath's alt looks a bit like Arm Meg's, only red and smaller. The new Robot Heroes have been seen already and the Mighty Muggs are pretty much what you'd expect if you know the line (and the ugly things seem to have been everywhere this last year). Just an alt mode pic of Smokescreen on the cover. Pretty G1 but as others have said the white stripe might be a little on the thick side. Minor niggle though, he's a definate buy.

I was thinking of getting an Omega to go in scale with them, only I was thinking of waiting for Animated Omega instead. Since he'd fit pretty well with the overall RH style.

Not as good as it was. Between $1.70 and $1.80 the last couple of weeks I think. Our current banking crisis has really hammered the pound.

Yep Dinobot is a new version of the BW character. We've known about him as a Uni Deluxe and the Minibots being done as Legends for a while, but the Club's got the first pictures. Only figure that was a surprise was the Legends Rod, but it might just be that I've missed the name previously whilst being dazzled at getting a new Beachcomber, Warpath, Cosmos, Wheelie... Yeah I must have read Wheelie and just blanked out Rod as another sucky third season character... Or he's not been mentioned before, or something.

I think I've had too much HMW, my head hurts.

No idea what's going to happen next with the exchange rate. Anybody's guess really.
