In the end I could not resist... -_- And I got Swoop today. It's a good thing I'm not into substance abuse or I'd be a hopeless addict.

I have to say he is a nifty little deluxe... Very thin and gangly but makes up for it by being really poseable and having what I think is a really great transformation. He is miles better than Snarlag that's for sure.

As long as you keep his legs backwards he can pose like a regular human shape creature, and that's the only quibble I have with this figure. His "knees" are backwards and don't bend like they should unless you deliberately keep them facing the wrong way.

Other than that his wings make an awesome cape in robot mode. I think I would rather have gone for a sword for his weapon, as a flail doesn't really suit the finesse of a thin flyer character like Swoop but it doesn't detract from the figure at all. I can always get a third party sword for him from somewhere else.

Really an excellent buy I must say.

Yeah I got Swoop yesterday too, he is pleasing. I'm gonna have to sort out a loose hip though.

The Animated collection is finished for a while. Maybe forever.

That sucks.

I was pleasantly surprised that there were no problems with mine. It took me a while to get the pegs on his shoulders lined up with the wings but they eventually got in there.

I will count my blessings this time that nothing was loose.

Well you're half right about Swoop, TBH his Pterodactyl/Pterosaur alt mode is kinda poo. But his robot mode is sooo good and really makes up for it. Which is good for me because I never have TFs in alt mode anyway.

I'll be perfectly frank, despite his jet mode being absolutely beautiful, if I wanted a beautiful accurate model of an F-15 I would buy an F-15 model.

For me Transformers are meant to be posed in robot mode and that's how he shall stay for all eternity.

Or until I die and my kids sell him off.
