his paint rubs off on the doors (just above and behind the front wheels) but if your prowl doent have this problem you could switch the doors
also I got the repro labels set and i think it makes a big difference
plus they would help to cover a small part of the door if the paint has rubbed off on that particular spot
-i think it might be worth asking reprolabels if they could make some stickers that cover the entire doors
also also if you get him you could switch the light bars as U prwl has the better vertion IMO

what you wanna do is get the stickers and a silver pen and paint the gun and rockets

Electron wrote:so u'd recommend silverbolt CC? i was gonna pass cause he looks way to simplistic, care to do i lil pro's a con review for us?
btw play.com have blaster and heavyload for £15 each, was thinkin of picking up galvatron for a tenner, cause of dms advice
whts everyones opinion on henkei prowl? does anyone here have him?
i got the 2.0 release but he just doesnt feel rite to me
I would indeed recommend the big fella.
I'll give it a go, but there's a reason the toy forum's not full of reviews by me
PROS
Gwun accurate in bot mode
Sleek alt mode, grey suits the mould well (plus far less worries about yellowing)
Awesome gun, very accurate and a powerful spring inside
Light up eyes! =D
Noises on slightly annoying, and very easy not to activate
That bright orange you see in pics? More of a light red, the other red being somewhat maroon.
All ratchet joints! (Pulls some nice poses)
He's taller than city commander
CONS
Simplistic transformation (not always a problem. Great when you want a quick fiddle) [Don't go there oddsey, or you Mr O
Noises are slightly annoying
Back of legs are hollow due to transformation
Head only turns from side to side
Landing gear wheels are orange
He's taller than city commander
That's pretty much everything I think. I did list some things twice on both lists, but that's because they're only a problem if you really want to make it one.
I love him to bits and, him being my first universe ultra, has set my hopes high for the others in this size class.
I can't see much point in paying extra for henkei prowl. He looks essentially the same, and there's still the paint problem (my universe Prowl never had this problem).
I got me one of those new fangled nanos mate. They are both smexy and functional. And a good deal reguarding price. I recommend them.
Never owned a zen, but having messed with a mate's one a while ago I can say I dislike them.
I went looking for a silver sharpie the other day.
I found sharpies, thin and fat, in every colour and shade but =/

http://hmv.com/hmvweb/displayProductDet ... sku=862628
probs go blue, btw how durable are they?
i currently got a cube as a mp3 player, so its very durable, but its only a gig
this was the zen i was gonna get http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electro ... oduct.html
ano the price difference is quite big, but i've always tried to avoid the ipod trend

No probs, hope it helped at least a little. Yeah the sounds are there, but you can always take the batterys out and put them in summat else
And I do think the lights are pretty =O
Aye I have the blue 8gig one, very good stuff.
As for durability, I'm not too sure. I had a quick bend and they're not weak, but I wouldn't want to put too much pressure on it considering its dimensions.
I'd say just treat it with respect. Buy a silicon coat for it if you like to keep it clean and whatnot. (I've got mine a smexy leather wallet =D )
That zen is pretty cheap and cheerful. I've never handled one like that, so I can't say much about it really. Although I do admit it's not the most aesthetically pleasing design I've seen.
In the end I guess it comes down to preference. If you still wanna avoid the trend and save money, go with the zen. But you will be sacrificing storage space, but that may or may not be a problem depending on the volume of music you have.

All three are really cool. Megatron is a serious improvement on the first release (who can now be found loitering at the later G1 end of my Classics calling himself Bludgeon) matching Henkei Megs pretty well. Overkill is sweet. Makes me hope for a Uni Snarl just to get a Slugfest repaint out of. Since he'll be staying in dino mode from here on out I won't be doing the arm switch that Cl Grimmy got on this version. Dragstrip makes for a good start to the Stunticon project. Not sure what the yanks are complaining about with him really. The legs are a little looser than previous releases of the mould but still hold the weight fine in bot mode and while his paint isn't absolutely flawless it's certainly passable with the main area that could use a little work being where the paint meets the clear plastic. A fairly common problem these days and one that I'm well used to tidying up if it's enough to bug me.
Thanks again Electron.

Just ordered Animated Activators Grimlock, Megatron & Optimus Prime from Hong Kong as I can't even seem to find Optimus on the web or anything other than Argos - who I'm starting to despise, Leeds branches anyway. £19.00 delivered all in all.
That just leaves me Activators Cliffjumper to seek out as the other main figures I'll be after are the legends minibots, which I'm sure TRU/Asda will pick up eventually.
waaaaghlord wrote:Reserving judgement until we see him wearing Jetfire.
Having seen the legends versions combined I'm not hopeful, I saw an ebay auction but forgot to save the url, it's finished now. Jetfire basically attached to Prime's back as a weapons pack, vaguely similar to Armada Overload.

Glad to see you're still with us mate! =D
lol Those combaticons are a joke. I just finished bitching to me mother about them XD
Why don't they reissue someone we have already had six or seven times, like the technobots or terrorcons?
Faultered and picked up Universe Powerglide. Looks grand, glad I didn't spend £20 extra on the henkei version considering I'm so pleased with this release.
Also picked up Universe Onslaught and TFA leader Megatron for the brother. Gotta love sales
