I'm in the same boat now, no new transformers til my birthday in march. I really shouldn'tve bought Overload either, but after being shown the hand over Roadbuster I thought "**** it" and went for it.

I've finally gotten back to work this week after the winter lull. Good news is that I'll have some cash flow soon, bad news is that I can't jump straight back in and start buying up bots left right and centre. A big chunk of my first paycheque next week will be going to my brother and after that it's a case of save like crazy until I can get an order in for the Botcon set. Last year was a pass having just heard about the theme and not seen the toys, no real regrets about that now but they're not worth grabbing at after market prices unless I have a large and unexpected windfall. A Wreckers themed set on the other hand has imediately leapt to top priority just as GoD did two years back. These are going to sell out fast again this year so I'd urge anybody particularly bothered about adding the Wreckers to their Classics collection to be getting some cash together now. With any luck I'll be able to afford the extra loose set by the time they go on sale. Having those to sell on around the time of AA will be handy, and knowing that they're coming as 'money in the bank' will help to justify my spending on the 'on the day' two packs just after Botcon.

Hope that ramble made sense. Other than that I'll be using the next couple of weeks to prioritise the rest of the year's planned purchases. The want list is pretty big at the moment with me having been pretty much out of the game for the last three months so I'm feeling the need for some forethought and strategy rather than the usual approach of grabbing what I fancy as I see it available or last year's 'preorder a case or two' method.

Also going to start an AA fund shortly. Dropping 10 or 20 quid in an envelope every week between now and August should ensure that there's a nice fund to go mental with at this year's con. Fun times ahead.

lol, I remember picking up the build team from Sutton Coldfield's Woolworths. I lost the Hightower's (the red crane guy) little handgun the same day in M&S

I really wish we'd seen more of the botcon set this year. I really wanna know what molds they'll be using for the wreckers, cos personally I can't imagine there's any new molds knocking around that could really do justice to Whirl and Broadside, and we've had quite a few Springers recently.

Even a teaser pic like what we got last year would do...

Ah well, I guess it's not like I could afford it.

I'm trying to sell off this extra watch I've got so I can afford food at university for a few weeks, but it's proving difficult.

It has no receipt so I can't take it back (it's been sat in my draw for years anyhow), and it's too fussy to sell on ebay.

Beats me. I've been using the same watch for the last ten years.

This watch I'm trying to unload though, apparently it's a Red Herring. I've never heard of them myself before, but it is a pretty nice watch.
