In other news, French cover of Paint It Black is fantastic.

For anyone who hasn't seen Spotlight: Sledge (and why not?!), my gritty and dark fanfiction piece "Holiday" is posted here.

On the plus side you should be getting all of the more limited stuff in your goodie bag (first 49 getting a DVD has been mentioned so far).

I booked about 10 min after the bookings opened on the 2nd of Jan, I'm sure there are more now!
I was on-line when Simon posted that bookings were open, and just went for it.
I saw the price was reduced to £40 for both days and even though, at the time, I wasn't sure that I'd bother with the full weekend I paid up.
My reasoning was that the single day price is gonna be slightly more than half the full price of the weekend (£45), which means it will prob be £25 per day. So for an extra £15 I can go both and get the most freebies for being in early.
I've also just booked a room in the hotel for the Sat night earlier. Might end up adding the Friday night as well, but not sure yet.
If you were thinking of staying there, it's worth looking at the hotel website, 'cus it works out slightly cheaper in advance, than the 'special rate' for AA. I paid £51 for a smoking double bed room, but that doesn't include brekky. (Which is £10 extra! I'll make do with a McDonald's.)

Yeah. The link I gave you takes you straight to the options for booking one night on the Sat (15th), at the hotel it's held at.
I had a quick look at other nearby hotel options to see if anywhere is cheaper and couldn't see any that were by much. Most were more expensive and any saving wouldn't be worth the extra hassle of lugging stuff/yourself back and forth.

Electron wrote:btw wht type of spendage should i consider taking £100 be enough?
Whatever you take, it will be too much and not enough!
I spent about £150 on the day last year, but I could have spent plenty more!
Personally, I'm gonna try and save quite a bit between now and August and have a bit of a blowout weekend! Not planning on having a holiday as such this year, so hopefully will have plenty to splash out on.
It all depends on what you plan to buy TF wise, as well as what you can afford to spend of course!
