Not sure if this is where this sort of information should go... so.. my apologies if I'm mistaken..

Went to the Preston branch of Conways Toymaster today (North West of England).. they had..

x1 ROTF Superion (which I bought)
x1 ROTF Scout Dead End (I double checked incase he was named Detour as some recent in-package shots have shown)
x2 ROTF Scout Rollbar
x1 ROTF Scout Dirt Boss
x1 ROTF Deluxe Rampage
x2 ROTF Deluxe Sideways
x1 ROTF Voyager Optimus Prime
x1 ROTF Voyager Ironhide

Also nipped into Argos on my travels.. the only things I searched for were ROTF Leader Optimus Prime and ROTF Human Alliance Bumblebee.. both of which they had in stock but in very low numbers..

Nothing ground breaking I know.. but I figured it might be a mention if any of you are around the Preston area. Conways Toymaster are usually pretty good at keeping things in stock as best they can, given the small size of the store.

Happy hunting folks!

Soundwave is grate but I do hope he gets a bigger toy down the road.

i think the universe repaints look kack, not gonna touch them hardhead etc hasbro are lazy without the head mods

If It's the right-hand side door then just keep wiggling it about. there is a point where it will just click in place but it doesn't like to just sit in there like the left-hand side door does. I think it's due to BB having a cannon instead of a hand, it pushes all the other bits to one side of the car mode thus making it awkward to fix in place. Keep trying!! Its frustrating as sin and I get scared of breaking it every time (that or throwing it against the wall in frustration oj) but it eventually clicks and everythings "aaahhh". The car mode looks awesome so IMO the amount of time working the door into place is worth it lol. Good luck!

Na it wasn't the door, it was the rear end, the back window panels don't really want to stay put.You can move the cannon around and out of the way so it fits into that big ass space between his leg I just found out.

i heart headmasters, it would be awesome if they did them, i'd even buy a headmaster sunstreaker with just the altered head, but most likely id get the henkei version

but hardhead would be my ideal headmaster

He's an Ultra and a straight repaint so no Headmaster.

Weapon: Acid Hand Blaster
Bristol finally caught up with everywhere else this weekend - the toys shops are full of front of store ROTF displays and there are posters for the movie EVERYWHERE. Definate photo ops!

Right now I'm skint so I only picked up Sideways, but I think he's frickin' ace - really digging his insect-like look, and when compared to Barricade from movie one, he's so much more sleek and methodical... the first movie toys are really boxy in comparison.

Tesco in town had some more RotF stuff in today as well as the blind bagged Robot Heroes for 1.99 a piece. Picked up 3, as I'm missing a few of the G1 pairings from first time around and ended up with Movie Jazz, Metallic Movie Prime and Movie Cliffjumper (quite chuffed with that last one as I believe the original release was a movie DVD promo in the US and not so easy to find).

Question though, has anyone else picked up any of these and gotten any of the G1 figs? It says Movie Series on the bag but has mainly G1 artwork and the checklist packed in shows both G1 and Movie figs. So basicly is it worth keeping picking these up looking for the last half dozen or so G1 figs that I never saw in shops when they should have been out?

Had a quick butchers in Toys R Us on the way home from work tonight, they've dropped the price of ROTF Superion already to £28.99.

Any lower than this and it could even out the price of an appendage set!

Not personally, but a few peeps over at TFW2005 have.

On a totally different note, I wish I could lose more battles in HMV......

As long as they score something like that of course!

Cheers for the reply Odds, as a result of that I went back today and grabbed the remaining 21 bags on the shelf. I've ended up with only a handful of repeats of figures that I already had and some of those are candidates for repainting, almost completely up to date with G1 RHs (only missing Matrix Prime now) and all of the movie figs available in this format (so no Ironhide or Dispensor, I don't think there were any other movie figs from the first series that didn't make it into the blind bags, but I'm not 100%).
