Re: Official Disgruntled Brits: We Dont Need No Stinkin Hasbro
Looks like I overestimated the going price of Cybertron Wing Sabre yesterday. I've just bought a boxed one for 28 quid shipped. The seller's got 2 left with 7 hours to go on them if anybody wants one at that price.

Re: Official Disgruntled Brits: We Dont Need No Stinkin Hasbro
Fairly basic picture from TFU.
http://tfu.info/2005/Autobot/OptimusPri ... ngmode.jpg
The TRU Wingblade figure is the same mould in a two tone grey with green and yellow paint aps, I picked one up last year to use as a Classics Sunrunner.
Ultra class so 25 quid would have been standard retail price at the time.
Also realised why I was overvaluing this figure yesterday. I was thinking of Energon Wing Sabre that was a smaller run release at the end of that line and never saw a UK release at all. Cybertron Wing Sabre was far more avilable and should still be available at around this price, my bad. He'd be cheaper to pick up loose but with the number of accessories and bits with potential to snap off and get lost I'm happier buying this one new. W#anted him for a while anyway just on the grounds that the colours go better with Cybertron Prime than Wingblade's do.

How the heck did everyone find out what it was, I haven't told anyone yet. I haven't took any pics yet because it wasn't quite what I expected.

Haha, G1 Hound looks so sad in comparison. I can just picture him looking up at his taller, younger, fitter descendant and thinking... "Bloody kids!"

Give G1 hound some due though - he did have 'Automorph technology'.

I really want Universe Hound. I never had the G1 figure, although my parents bought him for my cousin one Christmas. Curse you, cruel fate!

Hound does indeed look great. I'm still kinda hoping they'll remold the head and give us Swindle from it though.

Nah, I'd rather they did a different mold for swindle, the body type (hood as chest) isn't really right for him.
Mind you some people are modding hound into a really nice looking Brawn

Nothing new at Argos, but The Entertainer had Universe Deluxes at £10.50. Galvatron, Ironhide and Silverstreak available at the Worcester one. Movie Leader Megs was £25, on the off chance there's anyone remotely interested.

How much was postage on that? Seeing as there's still no sign of anyone in the UK stocking them, I guess I should start looking into importing.

Ok, someone in the UK stocking them who isn't taking the piss on the price.
Besides, I had a problem ordering from Toyz and Games on ebay once, so I try to avoid them now.

Re: Official Disgruntled Brits: We Dont Need No Stinkin Hasbro
Yes, yes and f***ing yes! Just scored 2 days off following the weekend after this and I'm heading down to London for the Monday night to see the Amatuer Transplants. Have we got any active London members that fancy a comedy gig and a few pints while I'm down that way?
Regardless I would urge anyone not familiar with these guys to head over to youtube and do a search for the band's name. They're funny as. Also while I'm not against downloading rather than buying every last thing it's worth noting that the proceeds from their CD and DVD sales goes to McMillan Cancer Support rather than the huge corporate entities that put out all the chart acts and Hollywood movies and they are a charity that is total deserving of the support.

Got Universe Roadbuster through the post today, and I have to say this is one fine repaint of a figure. I can see why it was chosen as botcon Springer, but i think it suits Roadbuster just as well. May have to get the Natobot ugrade faceplate though!?

Even I'm starting to worry about me.
I read this as something like:
