Va'al wrote:*Lack* of paint job, you mean.
Not entirely true. They have the same amount of paint as the originals (or slightly less), the difference is where they ended up:
Predaking
All of the black paint on the dragon head and robot mode head has been moved to the wings, and the orange and grey plastic have been switched around in the launchers. The result: more majestic wings and more uniformly colored launchers. The tradeoff is that both heads are now unpainted grey. By the by, I've repurposed him as a de-throned Predacon King called "Predicus", thanks to the prototype Predacon symbol he has.
Optimus Prime
A less drastic change, the yellow side windows are now green, matching the wind shield and the head lights are painted. Where did the extra come from? The Star Saber, which is completely unpainted. I can live with that tough, C-Vector Prime has his sword unpainted as well.

(That's Dutch Bugs, in case you're wondering.
As for TRU UK, not much to report other than MP Acid Storm for £49.99, most FoC Generations stuff is out, lots of PRiD and BH Voyagers (no Shockwave) and at least two BH Deluxe Prowls! Very surprised to see them, actually.

Home Bargains stores are stocking Kre-O combiners wave 1 for £3.99. I picked up one of each set so I could display the individual 5 bots with their respective gestalts.
B&M now have Generations Legends Rumble/Ratbat and Frenzy/Ravage sets appearing for 3.99 (can confirm this with photos if needed)
And just spotted today 'the entertainer' stores are stocking Battlenet Bumblebee and Ripclaw Strike Kre-O sets for £8 each. Here's hoping they follow suit and release windcharger and trailcutter soon! Only ripclaw is available on their website, but they also have beastblade optimus and kicker listed as 'Coming soon!'
Considering picking up Acid storm on payday now he's down in price, I have some TRU vouchers about.

craggy wrote:yeah, the paint on TRU Predadoodle is a bit different, but it's the same amount. If you got both and smooshed them together you might get close to the amount of paint apps the mold could do with. And still nothing like the show.
Or you could repaint either!

Does anyone want a Generations Darkmount (with a broken, but functional arm swivel joint ring thing) and a DotM Skyhammer? I don't feel like eBaying them, so they'll go to a charity instead - unless you want to take them from me!
Also partially inclined to let go some PRiD figures, but not sure yet.

is Skyhammer the big black helicopter dude? I'd have him. I've got United Straxus, so no need to double up.
