Yep, it was in the next aisle over in my local. Legions £5, Warriors £12ish, one-steps £8, Deployers £12.50. All marked as such. The old stuff was full price in the old place, so be aware. Thanks to a birthday I got £90 'worth' of stuff for £64!

There's one last Scattershot in Smyths, Rayleigh hidden behind some Hot Spots and Silverbolts. (As someone else pointed out, they have the Thrilling 30 Voyagers at £10 apiece: finally picked up Sandstorm who was sharing top shelf space with Blaster, if anyone's interested?)

Asda's (also in Rayleigh) was a bust, sadly no Warrior Fracture for me.

did you check down every isle in Asda? coz as i said before...they may not be located in the toy isle(i think that's where some people are going wrong)

Spotted & bought this today! at Sainsbury's, also spotted Sideswipe too! but unfortunately no Grimlock yet!(i'm checking a Sainsbury's further afield tomorrow, so hopefully i'll find Grimlock there! i'm also checking a TRU too! in case they are also stocking these).

also spotted CW Leader Skywarp in Smyths Toys, Kilmarnock! he's going for around about the £45 mark.(no i didn't bother getting him, coz i've already got the Legends Class + Generations Jetfire on which CW Leader Skywarp's mold has originated from).

Combiner wars Scattershot, yay or nay? Anyone picked him up and make any recommendations either way? I have a £6 smyths voucher so can get him for £17.

I'd say nay. Hold out for the inevitable computron box-set reveal at botcon in april

I agree, if you want to make Computron, wait for the boxset. If you want him just for Scattorshot, then I guess go for it. I don't have him, but I have Silverbolt and it is a nice mould.

do you have Cyclonus? coz that came from the Silverbolt mold too

I do indeed have him. Kapow was only selling Hotspot with Cyclonus so I had to. Still a nice figure, but doesn't really scream Cyclonus to me. Though he does look good alongside Mania King.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I already have silver bolt, cyclonus and Onslaught. I like the character of scattershot, just not sure the differences make him worth buying. I'd rather save the money for the combaticons deluxes I think. Smyths website says due this month but checked 2 stores here in Leeds today and both had only wave 3 deluxes frustratingly. Time to be patient methinks...

I've been on a bit of a hunt around recently. But nothing really new to report.

At Sainsburys Gravesend they have CW Voyager Onslaught and Scattershot. CW Wave 4. RID Armour / minicon 2 packs.

Finally picked up PowerCore Prime at Smyths in Thurrock. They also had a few Leader Skywarps.

That's pretty much it.

I also picked up a MP Ironhide from Kapow. I am a little bit in love with him.

Oh as an aside, I am having a little MP clear out.

I'm getting shot of Acid Storm, Hasbro Skywarp, Starscream (first Version) and Rodimus (first version). I'll pop these up on the sales thread, but I thought I would give you guys first dibs.

i'm now beginning to doubt if we'll ever see Wave 5 deluxes appear in physical stores? as we've now had Onslaught in Smyth's for weeks now! + the fact that Smyth's website & Argos Catalogue have had deluxe combination figures showing for some time now but yet no actual physical sighting of those, in stores.

& the weird thing is! that the Wave 5 deluxes have actually been spotted in one chain of stores in the UK!(Forbidden Planet), but unfortunately not every FP has those(the one closest to me, in Glasgow, is completely useless).

Gotta remember that Forbidden Planet gets stuff on import - so anything that is there does not mean it will / has appeared anywhere else in the UK. FP also have had CW Starscream who has never appeared anywhere else (I know because muggings here bought one the other week! For £50! The power a physical stores, having stuff actually in stock, that you can touch, has over those of us who are weak willed...).

I remember that FP also used to carry the old Encore series as well as Binaltech - again stuff that was never widely available.

I wouldn't rule wave 5 out just yet though. I mean we have had to wait - sure. And we didn't get Wave 2. But we can hope right?!?

true, but i think Wave 6(Sky Lynx) is nearly upon us! next month sometime i believe?

another weird thing.....Wave 4 at least here in Scotland still hasn't fully emerged! granted i was lucky, coz months ago during a visit to TRU in Glasgow i managed to snag the entire wave 4 deluxes! but since then on occasional visits to that same TRU(as well as other stores) that Wave hasn't since appeared in it's entirety! now in my local Smyth's Toys you get the odd Wave 4 deluxe appearance, but never the full set!

but back to Wave 5! it seems rather false advertising at the moment....at least where the Argos Catalogue & Smyth's Website are concerned! coz Argos have Vortex & Swindle in their catalogue, but yet no sign when going to do a customer viewing!(i know coz i've already done a customer viewing at a few Argoses & they've only ever brought out either Wave 1 or Wave 3 figures....& probably Onslaught now, since he's shelfwarming at Smyth's) speaking of Smyth's! they have Vortex advertised on their website.....but absolutely no sign of it anywhere in store! now both Argos & Smyth's don't give a release date for those figures, so at the moment it's just a case of a hit & miss affair, which is unfortunate.

I'm almost tempted to hit up a stateside contact to see if they can secure me a set... just in case. Apart form the odd Dragstrip, I haven't seen Wave 1 peg warming anywhere recently. Wave 3 seems to be the most abundant and Wave 4 seems to pop up from time to time - like you say, still hasn't had a massive impact, although I think I have now seen them in most of my locals.

I hope the appearance of Vortex on Smyths and Argos pages isn't an indication of what happened when The Entertainer Website had Wave 2 up as "Coming Soon" - until they didn't.
