sweet baby primus!

60 quid even before shipping! no thank you!

You can paint a turd gold, but it's still a turd.

Congrats both Waaaghlord and Insurgent with yer gains!

I expect pics of the awesome Jizaitoys Cyclonus ASAP matey!

Just waiting for the blasted issue 3 of the tf magazine to come out. I have to wait till the 15th (or was it the 13th? hmmm...)

I can happily say that not buying lots of food at college today has had no negative effect on me. Which means it's full go ahead to building the WS pot at maximum warp.

Since Dough bot hasn't been online to answer me query yet, I'm just gonna go ahead and assume £20 will cover purchase and delivery.

Good to hear ye've finished yer collection Insurgent! But ye know ye can't stop there! You must buy more!

No, no. Must stay focused. Do not seize this oppurtunity to get something cheap. Stick with Wingsaber.

If I wasn't getting robovision Prime, I'd go with the leader version. But he's just too bulky looking for my liking.

Oh, and Arrghh.

Maybe it's an instore dealio?
It's happened the opposite way round before now.

Or maybe particular stores can't shift things like the leaders, and so are forced to drop the prices a bit?
:-?

I'm determined not to get real gear figures now.

Must.save.for.MPs!

Sad to hear your parents hassle you over tfs.

Me ma loves the alternators and titanium figures.

I guess I'm lucky like that. But then again her brother- my uncle- had tfs as a kid. It's just a shame they got rid of his tfs before I could get hold of them. It woulda owned to get hold of his Optimus Prime!

In Asda you say? Reet, I shall have to go check asap!!

My uncle used to have TFs as a kid, alas they are no-more. He still collects comics, he's got over 10,000, and some are really rare, so im not allowed to look  . You would think my parents would be a little more understanding lol!

The best thing to do is expect your parents to be a real pain in the ass. Then, there is no way for them to disapoint!

Either they'll be the pain in the ass you were prepared for, or they'll be more decent.

I'm so glad my parents don't interfere with my collecting.
Come to think of it, I've only spent £500 or so, so it's not exactly like I've spent a bomb on my collection. :-?

I don't like giving money out willy-nilly, since I too am jobless.

Looks like Dough-bot's put Wing Saber on hold for me. Thank ye plenty matey!

Now for a week of intense money-saving action action action!

Yowsers.

I assume that's V2 Cyclonus?

Don't you worry. As soon as I get a paying job, every single last penny will be going towards tfs.

Hell, my grants for year two of Uni are already destined to get me THS 1 and 2, and a couple of other expensive things I have my eyes on.

Don't be ashamed. Be proud! ;)^

Yep indeedy. I was hoping that he'd come in closer to £120, but I'd been out drinking all afternoon and felt a little impatient. I'm sure that they'll be getting listed once a week for a while like the anime coloured ones, but hey 'pay to play', right?

That guy and the Galvatron kit are going to have to be my last big spends for a while. I've only got another couple of weeks work assured and then it's a case of whatever needs doing around the nursery until the season fully dies off. I'll be back to it in February if I haven't picked up anything permanent by then, and there's always something or other that turns up over winter, so it's not all bad. It would be nice if I could get more than just the seasonal contract out of them next year though. Over the last couple of years I've become a pretty core member of staff and even get my own skivvies when we're really busy in mid to late spring.

back to the parent thing, my mum begrudingly buys me figures but she'll mostly go dwon the statue/plaque side of things.

last xmas she got me the autobot wall plaque and primus, she only got me primus due to the fact she couldnt get the 'con one. did manage to get the 'con one about 6 months later so when i get my new place they'll take pride of place on my wall.

though whenever she sees me buy any, usually any time i go see her as shes got a toys r us and a FP down the road (only reason i go sometimes, ssshhh!) i get the "saving some money" speech. she accepts that its my main hobby/addiction plus im 26 so she cant say to much

He's worth. He'll only go up in price from here.

It's always a shame when you have to cut back on tf buying.
Not too bad for me though. I'm used to going long periods without new tfs.

You naughty Darkageis. :P

Abusing your wuvly mother like that :P

For the greater I always say. That's why I go shopping with my mother. Cos TRU's next door, and the Sainsburys we go to normally has pretty good tf stock.

Well I live between two small towns, and all their shops are always sold out. I know there cannot be that many colecters where I live, and the kids round here are superchavs and only like beating each other up n football, so I have absoluty no idea where they all go....

I have to drive miles n miles to TRU, so I hardly ever go, I would love to ebay, but I know I would spend all my limited moneys in a week.

It's a hard choise, food, clothes, or TFs, whats a girl to do?

If you can't find one let us know - I'm sure I can pick one up for you (Yes - I'm getting tf buying withdrawal, ok!)

My parent's don't dare comment on me buying Tf's - My Dad's into radio controlled planes and hele's and has a room full of them - at least with my hobby I don't end up with broken bit's of tf's in a bag after a bad day :D
