I don't have any red wine, but I have found a bottle of Jamesons whiskey. Arrrgh! Tharr be a good drink to warm the cockles of ye heart on a cold night like this.
Yeah, I'll let you all know on the freebie. Not expecting too much, but what the hey. The picture does show all four Minicons in the insert and they're part of what I'd count as complete, ie mint, so I'm presuming that it's not in reference to those. I suppose that not being MISB should reduce the value a bit, but it still seems too cheap to have been listed for that price as a BiN.
Jamesons is a fine tipple. The Irish sure do know how to make booze. I've now got my plonk in front of me, so the rest of this evenings experiments with the new robot modes in HMW should prove interesting. Anyone else had a go with these yet?

Didn't know they had robot modes. Think I'll have a look and see what they be like. If I have anyone alive that is. Hope you don't have to pay for them.

Robot modes are specialized for certain abilities. Mkall suggested classifications such as: Assault-Type, Recon-Type, Melee-Type, etc. This is probably the format of types I will change it to.
When you upgrade the robot mode's "Special Abilities" you are basically making it more powerful in a certain area. The Metroplex and Metrotitan robots you have right now are specialized for strength.
Each upgrade on Metroplex's ability meter adds 1/2 point to his strength during combat. So a maxed out Metroplex could actually pack a punch of 15 strength.
Other bot types will do different things. Recon-Type will add to intelligence and stealth (and yes, intelligence will do stuff). Assault-Type will add to firepower.
This adds yet another dimension to configuring your bots.
Also points spent on robot mode abilities DO NOT count towards your level, allowing for some potential level bullying. He he he.

Aargh! They don'tDamn. Although, level bullying
If you want to level up just spend your XP on something else. The lower your level the cheaper CR is and the less XP you give to enemies who manage to injure you. I'd say it was win/win really.

Just impulse bought season one of Babylon 5, wooo.
Also, I think it is a major miscalculation on OS's behalf having robot mode abilities not count towards level. Either ALL stats count towards level, or none (ie level is based on xp, my personal preference).

Season one I can take or leave. It's got some good set up for what comes later, hell some of the plot points don't pay off until season five, but it wasn't a show that hit the ground running. Seasons two and three are the real high points, although the show really needs to be watched as a whole due to the way it's structured. The first season of Crusade was shaping up to be a much stronger starting point than B5's first offerings and it's a real shame that it never went beyond thirteen episodes (esspecially given that the first Bester episode portraying him as a war criminal on the run in the wake of the telepath war was pretty much next up on the shooting schedule).
I finally got to see To Live and Die in Starlight the other night. I did consider ordering it from Play when I ordered Lost Tales last Friday, but really can't justify it when I'll be picking it up in the Universe box at some stage. Resorted to getting it on torrent in the end (and then had to track down a DX50 because my computer's retarded). A bit of a slow start for a pilot, but I liked where it seemed to be going. LotR probably would have made a fine addition to the B5 family, but if Sci-Fi had funded that we wouldn't have got BSG. Tough call.

I understood about half of that.
B5 was one of those shows that I never managed to watch properly, so I never really understood it. Everytime I watched it, everything had changed, so I never got into it.
Same with the later couple of seasons of Farscape until I DLed em.

If it helps at all LotR = Legend of the Rangers, a planned spin off show that would have been produced by Sci Fi Channel but never went beyond the pilot.
BSG = Battlestar Gallactica, the show that most of Sci Fi's budget ended up getting pumped into the same year.
If you haven't come across Bester yet then you've got some good stuff to come. I'll try not to spoil anything, but he's a recurring villain played by Walter Keonig (Star Trek's Chekhov).

That's so odd, it was working when I posted...

The much more official site. But I'm sure there's a fully official one tucked away someone on the web.
Red, you'll be pleased to hear about OS's new move then.
Levelling up will become XP-capped in a week or so.
But that still gives me a week to pillage lvl 1,2 and 3 bots of their energon!
Even that level 5 didn't know what had hit him!
