Part of the reason I left is because everyone I liked stopped working there, and I'll be damned if I go back asking for favours. Lot of people working in the Cardiff store I seriously detest. And don't even get me started on the Barry store they gave me to run while the manager was away... Barry is rife with crime, it is not a nice place.

Be happy in the knowlage that they are still stuck there in crappy jobs in crappy places, and that you have beaten them all at life.

Man, how will I ever win at jobs? I hated retail, but have no leet skillz...

trouble is with work, even if you hate it, you gotta do it. If i despise a job, i stick with it until i find a better one, or in my case end up being asked to resign, or get sacked lol. I think doing crappy jobs helps you in life, my girlfriends brother quit uni, and in 12 months hes had 3 jobs, and not one has lasted more than 4 weeks (and he usually has a week off 'ill' in the middle somewhere.) I get a bit sick of younger people saying they will only work when they find what they want to do. Imo, you get a job, ANY job whilst your looking, you'll appreciate it much more when you find it.

Anyways, what time (UK time) is megs rising on today??? need to know what time to start looking for the torrent, im so hooked its not funny, which is bad because its so crap its actually good lol.

I was so close to buying nightwatch prime today. Just cant justify £40 for something that im not really into, especially seeing as in a bidding war for a misb hosehead lol

I'm not sure if I worked this out right, but wasn't Megs Rising Part 2 only shown about 30 mins ago in the USA. I generally give youtube a couple of hours, so its pointless looking at the moment.

Maybe it's because it hasn't finished airing yet... It's only 10:11 US Eastern, and 9:11 US Central.

Be patient!

Guys - I need some help making a decision

I'm deciding whether to buy 20th Anniversary OP, but I can't make up my mind.

Is it a good figure?

Is it worth £30?

HELP ME!

(The gallery makes me think he would be very worth it)

I'm really quite misery when it comes to spending on anything and if I had the space and could get him past the wife I'd gladly spend £45.00 on him.

Ultimately you are the one who has to make the call. While Takara MP-01/04 is better I guess 20th Prime is still pretty neat. Worth buying if you don't want to import the Takara version.

2 questions:

1) do you mind battle damage?

2) do you mind short stacks/mind buying longer stacks?

If the answer is yes to both, then buy it, at £30 its a bargain

Well I wouldn't be importing one, in fact, if I hadn't seen him for £30 I wouldn't have even considered getting him

Hmm, not a big fan of battle damage - is there lots of it?

Short stacks don't bother me too much

I'm swaying towards buying it at the moment, unless someone can give me a good reason not to.

He is worth £50!

(Which is what I payed, when he first hit our shores )

The battle damage isn't extensive. Just a lil on the torso and grate, and a lil on the arms. But not much.

You can get long smokestacks from ebay for about £3 shipped- does anyone still have that auction link? There's a specific seller that does them.

Nothing new this end. Went to bed last night before watching Animated, so I watched it this morning. Awesome episode. I have high hopes for the second season!

Animated was good, but not as good as I was hoping it would be. The second half of the episode seemed to lose almost all of the serious decepticon threat that was present in the beginning by turning them into weaklings. I mean, no-one would be stupid enough to have a big red detonate button actually on the end of a missile, yet Lugnut did allowing Bulkhead to defeat him. Sometimes I wish the decepticons would actually win at the end of an episode and the next one be the Autobots on the offensive, rather than defensive.

It's the centrepiece of a collection - so definately worth £30 (I too paid £50 and a fair bit of petrol when it first came out)

What's shaking everyone?

I haven't been around for quite a while due to the extra-fun combination of horrific work loads, internet failure and other such fun things. Luckily all those seem to be passing, so I am venturing back onto the interwebs.

Get 20th Ann Prime, he's one of the figures that got me into collecting in the first place. I would thoroughly recommend it!

£40?!? No, I wouldn't pay that.

@£29.99? Yes, I would, and did buy him for that.
25% off from Argos last week, I think that offer is still on isn't it?

Yeah, def worth picking up at that price. I paid £49.99 for my first one when they originally came out.
Got a second for a MISB when TRU dropped the price to £29.99.
You're refering to the version without the talking base aren't ya? Where you buying it from?

Re: The 25% off TF's at Argos. Just checked on website and it seems to have finished.
Although Movie deluxe figs are now even cheaper @ £6.49! :APPLAUSE:

Tesco's still have 25% off (in store only) though, well they did yesterday at least.

Jazzrules, if that MP Prime @ £30 is sold out then TK Max have 'em for £39.99 at the mo. Saw three in the Broadmarsh (Notts) store yesterday. It's the version with the talking base.

I assume its got a talking base as it says try me and has a little hole in the packaging above the base's autobot logo.

I've seen it in toymaster, and they had quite a few so I'll go and pick one up tomorrow as you all say get him.

Thanks for helping me come to a decision ;)^

The colour of the one with the talking base isn't as good as 20th anniversary prime, but I don't think it has battle damage either.

I prefer the 20th anni one.

Bugger! I would of picked up one of that version @ £30, but there's not a Toymaster in Notts.(Or Derby anymore either) Pity, as the two I've got are both the other version. :(
