Well, FanTransformers has uploaded it's copy of episode 19 to steal my thunder. =(

Since it seems to be back up to speed with it's uploading I won't bother next week, so I'll just post the torrent link and be done with it.

Anyhoo.

All three parts for anybody that's interested:
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

Legends hound is a new mold out this year, but the new mold deluxe Hound and ravage, Cyclonus probably won't be out till next year as they are part of the '25th anniversary'

So the 'big reveal' today for 25th anniversary is announcing a new mold armada hot shot. BFD, don't know or care about the character :-(

With Animated Skywarp, War Within Skywarp, and Universe Storm Cloud in the pipeline, I believe this years Botcon has been thoroughly pleasing even though I didn't go. :P

Not to mention getting an early pre-order in for the Magnus Armour. What possible reason could I have for being disgruntled now?

(Hasbro announces at SDCC that they lost the rights to the Skywarp name, have cancelled all his figures, and are taking down TFClub for copyright infringement.) Nightmare?

Believe me, you don't want to have a credit/debit card enabled for online purchases, or you just end up spending so much.

Take me, for example: I told myself that my G1 Magnus would be the last eBay purchase (and online purchase as well) for the next two months, but what do I go and do? I check eBay like usual for some bargains and before I know it I've put bids on G1 Galvatron, Superion, Grimlock, Rodmius Prime and the Jumpstarters #-o

Luckily I only won Galvatron, Grimlock and the Jumpstarters. Galvs is complete, working light and sound for a tenner, Grimlock comes with everything but missiles for £14 and the Jumpstarters are complete for 2.60

All pretty reasonable deals, but by the time everything adds up it ain't cheap...luckily Galvatron and the Jumpstarters are from the same seller so I get a minor shipping discount...hooray

I know what you mean.

The problem is, BBTS only takes preorders via credit card. (Which is stupid, considering you don't pay until the item comes out...)

And you know with that set unless you get it now you'll end up paying a silly ammount of money for it in the future :S

2,000 pieces...bah, they're gonna fly off the shelves (in a metaphorical sense). I'm glad I'm not even tempted for this one

The money isn't the issue.

I have $40 right now, and I can easily make up another $40 odd in the coming months.

Is the armour a BBTS exclusive, or are other online shops carrying it as well?

Apparently TFsource are to stock it. But at the moment, that doesn't seem to be a reality.

I mean, surely the online retailers would all be allowed to put up preorder information at the same time?

Don't let it surprise you. It is common retail practice to get your preorders in for items ASAP. BBTS are smart and always seem to have theirs up before anyone else even if they end up getting the price wrong as was evident with the coronation set for MP Screamer.

Hopped aboard to say I just got Stockade at Wilkinson's. They also had Overcast and Jungle Bonecrusher, £5.99 each. :)

Edited for spelling-related dumbassery.

Which Wilkinson's? So far avoided Overcast but for that price I'd pick one up.

I'd go with slim. Mostly so far they seem to be just repaints. A more Blasterish head would be good though.

Guest? :???: That was me.

I was also going to say a remolded mini-con would be good but I think there's even less chance of that than a new head.

Most important weekend on the TF calendar and my interweb has been down, so I'm still playing catch up on all the Botcon news. Put in a preorder for City Commander and should be able to add another if anyone is struggling, PM me to work out details rather than cluttering up the thread but rest assured that I'm not looking to turn a profit. Missed Doctor Who on Saturday, so off to iplayer I go, in a bit.
