Did they have anything else? Something tells me that if they did, you'd have swindled them out of that too :P

lol - i did my best but i only had 23 pound, so i had to leave behind so many, they had powermaster prime a bunch of combiners from energon i think, tidal wave armarda prime and beast machines primal there were a few others but i think i got the best of the lot
-was so happy with hound though as i probibly would have bought him off ebay for 30+ quid

ive also got galvatron and scorponok and some beast wars in a tin for £8 before
acctually one of those was a shrapnel looka like that should fit with the other insectacons!
the best bargin i think ive ever got was a almost compleet magazord + dragonzord for a pound B-)

yeah, ive got some nice bargains at boot sailes before, but you have to get up really early to get the bargains, and there is no way im getting up at 0700 on a sunday morning...although for a bargain like that it may be worth it

edit: Oh and nice review Sledge, very funny, I have the 2-pack and agree with everything you said, aside from the fact that the joints on mine arent loose at all and Meg's canon doesnt pose a problem with posing...man thats some bad grammar...just as well that i dont do review

Fair does, then. The problem with any reviewing is you can only comment on what's in front of you without knowing if it's an issue that applies across the board. With stiffer joints, I'd consider Megs an 8 out of 10 as well. Still a good pack, and worth buying.

Man, if you ever go back to a car boot sale (and have the dough present, and see them for a decent price) and you see Energon Superion Maximus, be sure to pick it up. We'll work something out through PM.

I'm not the carboot sale type, so I miss all the major bargains. The best I found was a few BW videos- which I bought.

QC will always be an issue with toys. Hasbro aren't the worst, but they're a big contender for poorest QC.

Personally, I hate to say this, but I think you should have just saved your money and bought something else later. Neither figure seems likely to make it over here with animated on its way though, so if you really desperately wanted them then you probably did what you needed to get them.

I wouldn't have bothered with Stealth Bumblebee, and I really hate to break this to you, but Play.com have Salvage and Stealth BB listed for release on the 30th June at £8.99 each. Including delivery. Sorry.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is that?

Wait for animated. That game will sit in shops for at least another month or two. Those animated figures will be snapped up by scalpers, bought by kiddy fans of the popular tv show, and will generally move quite fast.

They've got between now and next July to get the entire line out haven't they?

Well I've never liked MGS games so I say wait for animated.

I'm loving the new classics TC and SW, I will hopefully get the TC, but as I've already got a SW I'll pass on him.

How can you pass on a Skywarp who is clearly superior to the his predecessor in every way? :-(

I know he's superior, but I already have a skywarp in my classics collection and I don't go in for getting the same figure more than once unless I'm not freeing it from prison.

I think my bro might well be getting the new Skywarp, as he looks so much better with Henkai SS and Botcon TC than the 2-pack release.

Which means I get the 2-pack release SW for meself! =D

I'll have to see some prices before I say a definate yes to Skywarp, hopefully the mark up won't be quite as bad as Thundercracker is bound to be. For TC I'm sticking with the Botcon version. Clear Convoy is a preorder pretty much irrelevant of price.

Clear convoy does look nice, but two versions of that mould (+ the two my bro has) are quite enough for me.

I don't think SW should be hit anywhere near as badly as TC. Maybe about £30ish.

But yeah, botcon TC is perfect.

Perfect aside from the lack of Decepticon symbols, cartoon accurate blue, and double sided wing stripes you mean. :P

The only thing wrong with the new one is the chromed launchers.

Skywarp will cost me no more than £35. I'm already itching to send the order off to Rinkya.

Is that shipped? Not too bad either way.

The stripes on the henkai seekers wings are amazing. It actually looks like a strip of red plastic on henkai SS.

Henkai TC may be damn nice, but botcon TC is good enough for me to call it a day on that character.

A better SW is a much higher priority.
