After owning and falling out of love with the Botcon Seekers, I can honestly say that it's not worth it unless you consider yourself a hardcore collector. In which case, knock yourself out.

theres been a few times when i think i shouldve bought tekkas seekers
but there not justifiable

depends on a lot of things, mostly how much money you have to burn

I'd get animated Grimlock if I were you, classics G sucks in a bunch of ways

I know you hate ani or is it just massive chins? but still AG is way better than CG or HG

ok thanks mate, i mite have to get it from kapow, i'l have to wait though, hope its not a one time offer

I've still got an Animated Grimlock going spare if you want one. My run down on them would be:

Classics - transformation scheme similar to Pretender Grimlock, OK dino mode, legs that look like thigh boots in bot mode, loose ball joints going into the thighs, a bit small at only deluxe sized.

Animated - fairly G1 transformation, fairly toon acurate, big hole in the front of dino mode where his robot mode head lives, great flaming sword is a bonus, decent size.

Of course you could always try to track down the Energon Grimlock/Swoop two pack, probably the most G1 inspired of the modern Grimlocks (although those guys a VERY pricey when they show up these days) or wait for the heavily rumoured Masterpiece.

Alt Sideswipe you say? *strokes chin* How much you looking for for him?

Hypothetically, of course. ;)

And it's the weak man I am. I go to Play to pick up Bulkhead for £8, then see they've got Salvage for £7, and I've wanted him for a while... ooh, and Blitzwing for £13? Well, I'm not going to see that price beaten for a while. *sigh* So much for saving money.

Just saw the mini-con 12 pack in Woolworth's. Couldn't justify £35 at the time and I'm now regretting it. Never mind, there were plenty there :-? .

Works out about £2.90 per Minicon. Not bad, but I don't want to spend £35 on Minicons. Like Electron said, at half price I might be interested.

Only solution is to use some kind of clear coat on it. But Galvatron being out is excellent news, really looking forward to picking one up.

Acid Storm is only getting bought if there's nothing else I want. This is very unlikely.

I would hold off buying it.
Can't remember where I read it, or who said it, but it is gonna be like the UM/Skywarp pack and slashed to half price and then stay at that price. They have to sell it at full price for a while to be able to claim it's half price.
The guy said it is advertised at that price in the new catalogue.

I always find myself wishing I'd bought a few more of those two packs. I could have made a lot of money reselling them after the CC armour was revealed. :-(
