A GM spokesperson has informed everyone of an upcoming schedule, where they will be giving away the Chevy Aveo Swerve within Ontario, Canada. This is what he has to say;

"Hi Guys,
I am one off the guys that is running this promotion for GM. Please don't rush out to Square One because we are out.
We have stops throughout the GTA, and as far as I know, there are enough Aveo swerves for all of you in Toronto to get one.
Our schedule is:
June 25-28 Fairview Mall
July 2-5 Sherway Gardens
July 9-12 Bramalea City Centre
July 16-19 Fairview Mall (again)
July 30-Aug 2 Eaton Centre
We are open mall hours at each venue.
I just need to request some guidelines.
-Don't all descend on Fairview next week to scoop as much as you can. Please spread it out over the 5 dates.
-Respect that this is a promotion for GM and we do need the vast majority of these swerves for kids et al.
-Don't sign up for the contest for 3 people and expect us to give you 3 Aveo swerves. We have to insist on 1 swerve per actual living body that shows up.
-And please, do not try to get a new one every day by coming back again and again. I remember faces.........
But on the flip side, it is great to see this enthusiasm for a contest giveaway that has been sitting in our warehouse gathering dust. I am there at the counter for 4 of the 5 dates so come on up and introduce yourself.
That's about it. See you all soon.
GM Guy"

Hmm, maybe I should consider a field trip to Toronto.

So what they're only doing this in Toronto? They're not going to any other malls in the GTA? Specifically North GTA? Specifically Barrie?

They may very well have done it in Barrie, or close to it. They said they were doing this for a while; we only just now learned of it.

Worse, you need to live in the Greater Toronto Area (That's like something only available in LA to you Americans)

Uhm, I'm in Quebec and have no way of getting to anywhere in Ontario right now.
Is there anyone in Ontario that could lend me a hand, help me get one of these?
I'll definitely pay for shipping costs and such.

I understand the appeal of this figure, and I hope there are those who are actively filling th "hook me up" requests. However please be aware that given the severely limited numbers of this figure being released, the very limited geographical area of their release, and the fact that it's the same group of people in each venue meaning that if you show up multiple times, they're gonna know, means that the chances of people fulfilling your requests is VERY slim.
Heck I've got a buddy "within the industry" and I'm not certain even he can pull through for me.

We can dream, can't we?
I only want one, but it seems like this figure is going to be as hard to get as Galaxy Force Noisemaze.

drove from cleveland to toronto with parents and wife to pick up some Swerves at Sherway Gardens and watch ROTF on IMAX. awesome holiday vacation. my brother and his wife went to sherway the day before around 2pm and they were all gone for the day. i got there before 12 and they still had some left. so if you're looking for them, get there early. the transformation is well done and different from any other transformer i've seen. i was half excpecting it to be a remold of an older toy, but they really went all out for this exclusive. The articulation for the robot mode is everything i expected from a modern toy. the neck is ball and socket except that it has a collar around it to restrict its rotation. it can't move around much, but it looks like it has an actual neck makes it look extra nice. if you can make it to toronto this month to pick it up, it is definitely worth the trip to pick up this exclusive that is unlike any other transformer available.
