The thing is, that Prime is fat and has loads of back mounted kibble, while this The Fallen is sleek and slender and has no back kibble. He's a lot like TFA Lockdown just that this guy seems to be Voyager. Plus looking at the detailing, paint apps and lack of space for electronics I think we can be fairly sure that this is a Voyager.

I like the figure quite a bit. And like others noted, reminds me of an EVA unit. But there is no way that this Fallen figure is a leader class toy. No way. There's just not enough there to justify the price point. That said, I will gladly pay the Voyager price for this fella. So far, I have seen a few good toys for the new movie (Starscream and the Fallen). Hopefully that trend continues.

He doesn't seem transformer-like at all. He's pretty ugly, bears no resmblance to the teaser poster, and is too small to be apocalyptic as Bay puts it. I hope there's a leader class, with far better coloring and possibly different shapes o him. There's a huge difference between leader andvoyager megs, so there could be a great looking leader fallen out there.

this guy is a big BIG letdown to me!

i was expecting some sort of epic big robot, something like unicron.

he reminds me of a bionicle or something

I don't see a transformer here but a bionicle-wanna-be that looks uglier than most bionicle figures.

Honestly I won't get it even if it was at deluxe price.

Yeah, I assumed he would be an evil but neutral bot like unicron. (I also assumed he would look halfway decent like a Transformer and not an alien bionicle creep, but boy was I wrong!)

Still hoping for a far-awesomer Earth mode or different class mode or something. This thig isn't worthy of having his name in the title of the movie, he's hideous. He might prove to be awesome in the movie though, like the wheeled costructicon, so I won't hate him too much I geuss.

Now I’m a big fan of the movie style but err……that seriously looks like a piece of sh*t. in no shape or form does that hideous thing resemble a transformer, it looks like it came out of an old 80s sci-fi movie

VERY DISAPPOINTED

I hope its just like a pre-earth mode and will see a much better version of him as the toy line runs. He “may” look alrite in the film but there is no way I’m buying that

I thought the fallen was meant to look all scary and powerfully not like hes been ran over a few times

Animated Lockdown is 20cm tall too. Granted Lockdown doesn't have a overly complex transformation, but the Fallen looks like a really sqeezed together alt mode. I can see The Fallen being a larger sized voyager.

i think i remember someone sayin that jetfire was a very old decepticon,maybe he was second in command before starscream and the civil war and rejected megatron's plans for conquest(though i'm sure the new comics will trash that idea)and megatron banished him,hence the 'fallen' part,has anyone even said he is a bad guy,maybe the autobots cant beat devastator without his help and the title is in referance to his revenge against megatron.

either way,i think this toy is his cybertron mode(voyager) and jetfire is his earth mode(leader).

ohh...another idea,maybe he was a dictator on cybertron and megatron and prime ousted him,he goes to earth,takes over but gets 'civilised' by the humans who he now vows to protect,still holds a grudge against prime but works with him for the sake of the humans.....sounds like cheesey hollywood to me!

try sayin all that out loud in 1 breath;)

*** I re-read this before posting and it may look like I'm trying to be an a**hole about this but I'm not. I mean no disrespect and I hope this doesn't come across like some stodgy old fart lecturing people. That's not the spirit in which it was written at all. That having been said... ***

Just curious, but it sure seems to me like a lot of folks are taking the Fallen/Jetfire connection beyond the point of specualtion and presenting it as if they have factual reports that this connection is so. Would those folks please give us the links to the places where they are getting this info, 'cause I would love to do some reading up on how Orci and the boys did their take on the origins of the Fallen as opposed to the original "War Within" version which is so obviously NOT part of the movie-verse. If there are no sites to substantiate the fact that there is a connection then many of you need to be making it perfectly clear that it is conjecture because posting stuff like it's fact is how baseless rumors get started around here. Sucks, but it happens.
I'm not saying that everyone is doing it, but some folks aren't covering their butts and more impressionable, younger folks may wind up making poor decisions on what they choose to pass along.
