varnish question

Postby Mykltron » Sun Mar 15, 2009 11:43 am

Motto: "If I win again I'm still the champion. If you win HAH! that's just impossible.

Weapon: tea cup."
What varnish should I use? I've noticed that enamel varnish melts water based and enamel paints. Even enamel paint and varnish of the same brand aren't compatible!

well i have encountered the same problem but i found a solution

dont mix brands !!!
if u r using "Ravel" enamels they have glossy paint -on the cap will see number one and the cap doesnt show any color
humbrol has the same product.

with "tamiya "
on the acrylic paint i use clear coat spray can that says acrylic laqcaur.
and with the enamels of tamiya i use their glossy of mat clear coat .

heard about testors clear coat -super durable bla bla bla -that frenzy rumble uses but i dont have anyone here selling their products.
