Yes I'm typing this in a sober and concious condition and yes I am serious, Venom vs Superman - but wait there is a twist!

Venom aint normal Venom, he's the seriously ugly "Venom The Madness" as he appeared in the comic of the same name up against the current Superman.
Both contestants think the other is endangering their girlfriends who are nearby in the battle arena.
The arena is lets say Gotham City and no Batman aint home.

Nobody helps ether of em.

I think Superman would win. Venom would loose some appetite after trying to bite Sups. I betcha no Dentist would wanna work on Venom's teeth. LOL.

As far as I remember, Venom is not faster than a speeding bullet, not more powerful than a locomotive, and while he CAN leap tall buildings in a single bound in certain continuities, he still can't fly, and won't be confused with birds or airplanes.

I will grant that Venom is at least PARTLY a strange visitor from another world with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men. And while I doubt he can change the course of mighty rivers (I'm certain he can bend steel with his bare hands), and even when he WAS a reporter, he was hardly mild-mannered.

And while Venom fights for truth, justice, and the American Way, he does not do it as well as Superman.

Alright that went on longer than I expected.

I know you picked Gotham as a sort of neutral ground, but Superman has been there many times, many of those to work with and/or beat the crap out of Batman.

It's a simple matter of finding a church, taking the bell, and ringing it very loudly, while simultaneously pulling out Eddie, and sterilizing the symbiote with his heat vision. Then putting back the bell because Superman is like that. Knowing Superman, this would take ten seconds.

I Choose Gotham not as a neutrual ground but since what I have seen of it it has tall buildings, is dark, loads of people live in small areas and thus forcing Superman not to use all of his power at it's peak as it would endanger innocent lives.
Plus I picked Venom The Madness as he was able to actually fight the Juggernaut and kinda win.

Yeah...... But still......I would assume Superman can Generate sonic Booms with the strength of his arms, if he decides to make a Clap or two. That could drive Venom's symbiote off Eddie.Sonic Weapons can do the same. I wonder how would The Sonic Device that the Gang used against Superman, affect Venom.

Venom is just a big jelly for Superman's dessert. Yum yum!
