Here is Venomous Prime/Original Sin's HMW I drew up a while back. His alt mode is a tanker truck. Been trying to color more lately and came up with this. Still don't know all the handy tools so this is as best I could do for shiny metal effects.

Know where I could find good books that could help me draw Transformers? My skills lean towards organic forms.

I too am better at people and stuff. Spheres and cubes don't work well in my head. I bought You Can Draw Transformers. It's ok, but you'll do well with just a lot of practice, too.

Brilliant pic, brilliant colouring, brilliant tutorials!

Looks like you pretty much set yourself up the same way I do, and I think, particularly if you're good with drawing figures already, it's probably the easiest way to think of it.

VP looks proper cool. I love the way the trailer splits into the wings. Very inventive.
